Come along as I change the gear oil, grease the pto shaft, and fix a flat tire on our Baumalight QC30 pto powered generator.

Hey there Chris. Glad you got the generator wheel inflated. I had that happen a few times. The weight of the generator makes the air leak fast. I see one or two folks mentioned it and I too would construct a small shelter to keep the generator out of the elements. You cleaned the generator up nicely. Have a fine week and stay warm. You should build a little decorative shelter next to the house for the generator.

I would love to have one of them! We don't lose power often enough to justify the expense, but it would be nice. Nice work getting it back in order! Looks great Chris!
We are definitely greatfull to have one. Don't use it too often, but it's great to have around- especially since it's mobile and we can use it about anywhere. Thanks!! 🙂
Same here maybe 2x a year for 4/12 hrs
"Murphy's tire and tube mounting compound" is what you want. I have used it many times, it works great.
That's one piece of equipment I wouldn't want to fail.👍

Hahaha that's amazing I thought I was the only person who used grease and ratchet straps to blow up wicked flat tires. Farm fixes are the best 🤣🤣

Hello from the Netherlands .
instead of a tarp build a real loeking dog house for it then it will no longer stand in all kinds of weather and it will still look good even standing next to your house.
and the pto can go through a real dog door.
tractor in front of the dog house , open the dog door with the pto through it and turn . afterwards pto back through the door,
close the door neatly so that no vermin will live in the dog house. tractor away and it looks good and normal again.
this is how we solved it here in the Netherlands with a buddy of mine with the generator, they are very unusual here in the Netherlands and very sensitive to theft and now it looks like the doghouse of "gene" (is on the name plate hihi)

We are looking for one of these units. I think it would work fantastically on the 1973 Unimog pto 550/1000 rpm.

I believe it requires around 55hp or so. I always end up putting 100+ hp on it 🤣
Handy they are I would like to find one for me I wound think they be more reliable than a gas power one due to the fact they don’t get used a lot
