I reverse meal plan. I buy most things on sale or “couponing” then I reverse meal plan with what I have. I try to buy very few things full price. I follow Ardent Michelle, Julia Pacheco and frugal fit mom.
We typically spend about $200 per week for our family of 4. That includes stuff for lunches, dinners, snacks, beverages, etc. I use the Intent app (free version) to meal plan. It’s the easiest thing because I can plan meals for an entire week and the app creates a grocery list and helps track pantry, staple items.
Tyfs! I subscribed to Julie Pacheco’s channel, I like that her recipes seem pretty easy. I also recommend Frugal Fit Mom’s channel, she has great content on budget grocery shopping and recipes.
I don’t eat hot dogs, but my family does and they used to exclusively eat Nathan’s. They found the Walmart brand jumbo hot dogs (full name below), which are the same price as Nathan’s but bigger and they say these taste better! Might be worth trying next time :) Marketside Fully Cooked Jumbo Uncured Angus Beef Frank 4 Count, 16oz (Refrigerated), Vac packed plastic film
I do $75 a week. I realized years ago it's so easy to over spend on groceries. Thats why I started doing $75. We are also GF,SF,DF among other things. For me personally its so important to know eat as clean as possible.
It definitely is easy to overspend, I find that especially true if I don’t have a set list. I’ve been trying to pay more attention to ingredients, dyes, etc. lately.
Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip! The Walmart brand tortillas are really good and they're very soft. I use a recipe from Emeril lagasse for red enchilada sauce that's super simple. If you're interested I can send it😊😊
If you go to the ethnic foods isle, the products are much cheaper.
Ty Kayla
I bought Julia Pacheco’s cookbook, it is great! I watch the Frudal Fit Mom also. ❤❤

That is really cool!
Just curious why you bought the name brand soy sauce when the great value brand was larger for half the price.
Thanks for sharing Kayla!

👩🦱Hi Kayla,
Off topic:
My Walgreens RR expire Sunday. Will they still work on Monday on my regular shopping day?
Unfortunately RR’s won’t work even 1 day expired.. 😕
@@CouponingWithKayla 👩🦱 Thank you Kayla 👍 This means I'll have to shop Sunday.
Axel looks so cute sitting there. He kinda looks like the elf on the shelf with that helmet on 😂
