Halloween 5 has always been among my absolute favorite films, from ANY genre. I kind of find it odd that this is regarded as a controversial opinion, because most sequels are judged in comparison to the original....and no other film in the series adheres so religiously to the motif that made the '78 original what it was. Halloween was always about stalking. Michael Myers was a prankster, a gamesman, an artist of the macabre...the ultimate stalker. The rest of the film was Loomis stalking HIM. And there is no other film in the franchise that so closely follows that approach. Halloween 5 is 90 minutes of stalking...Myers stalking his victims, and Loomis stalking him. By the way, it's refreshing to see someone around this place actually dresses like a grown man...well done.
