Danielle Harris would attract the die hards of the franchise but not the casual movie goer. We do need the franchise to make money so the studios keep pumping out the content. I'm not sure how you'd bring her into it convincingly

@jdogjohnson382 you can't sit there and say Danielle has had the amount of opportunities to come back like JLC has because it's just not true. Not to mention, Danielle/Jamie Lloyd has had very poor treatment after 4 (not including Robs movies). Plus, we have never seen an adult Jamie Lloyd experience a story with Michael. No one likes 5 or 6, so it only makes sense to do a legacy sequel to 4 with Danielle Harris, which is what a lot of fans want, and it's what she deserves.
The only way I'm ok with Jamie Lee returning is if they completely ignore Halloween Ends and make a real sequel to Halloween Kills

Pretty much... I hated Ends with a passion, and if they gave Kills a proper sequel I'd be okay with her coming back. Otherwise, stay far, faaaaaar away.

I think we are reading a little too deep into this. She answered the question in an intelligent way. I say that all the time. “Never say never.” Never slam a door in life. Do I think she will return to the franchise? No. I do not see that happening.
Do I want to see her return? I think she has had her time. I would not want to see a sequel follow up to Halloween Ends. If anything, if (or when) they make a new Halloween film, if she had a cameo in one scene, I wouldn’t be against it. I wouldn’t want to see Jamie Lee in a full time lead role. I’d like to see new characters be invented.
Jamie Lee Curtis can stop now. I don't want anybody involved in Halloween Ends to make another Halloween movie ever again. Thank you.

It just depends on the context. I think if it’s for a flashback/cameo with her where she is de-aged that would be cool! I really love her story arc in the new trilogy. Her scenes with Corey in Halloween Ends and her final confrontation with Michael in Ends were my favorite of the series and a perfect conclusion for her and the series 🧡
As divisive as H-Ends and trilogy was, I think it was a good enough sendoff to the Laurie Strode character and the original continuity...but damn, I sure am missing Halloween movies coming out this time of year!

I’m not sure that’s a good thing ! I’d love for Halloween /Michael Myers to come back but NOT including Jamie Lee Curtis . They should create a new film taking place in the early 80s, taking place a few years after Halloween 2 (1981) and prequel to Halloween 4(1988) ,Laurie strode or Jamie Lloyd don't need to even be mentioned and just create a good 80s type slasher with a haunting atmosphere, suspense and a good storyline and make Michael Myers mysterious and scary again .
That's why I think a reboot makes the most sense, but the selfish me really wants a H4 sequel.

Lee McCoy - Halloween: Ends (2022) was the perfect send off for Laurie Strode in my opinion. However, I would rather see Andi Matichak return to reprise her role as Allyson somehow someway. Which I wouldn’t mind seeing more Allyson in future movies and limited series either on Peacock TV or on Netflix. I have some wild ideas on how Andi Matichak could come back as Allyson.
I thought of a way of continuing Allyson’s story post Halloween: Ends (2022) with both a movie sequel and then a limited series right afterwards.

Halloween: Reborn - A sequel that would pick up after the events of Halloween: Ends (2022).
Synopsis:
“Halloween: Reborn” - It picks right up after the events of Halloween: Ends (2022). It switches back and forth between Allyson and the killer (dealing with spilt personality). It would bounce back and forth from Allyson’s P.O.V. then it would switch to the killers P.O.V. depending on the situation or a specific scene and it would take place in Russellville, Illinois. Laurie Strode would pass away from natural causes but Allyson would be on trial for the “murder” of Laurie Strode. It also delves into the psyche’s shadows, blending personal anguish with a critique of societal decay. It’s a visceral exploration of inner demons and external chaos, where each scene serves as a haunting narrative chapter, drawing viewers into a world of intense emotion and raw confrontation. The first part of the story would take place on the eve of Samhain and it would focus on the overall holiday of Halloween and somewhat focusing on Michael Myers aka The Shape. The story would flash forward to October 30, 2018 it would explain what happened to Allyson and then the story shifts to four years later. On November 11, 2022 once all of the mayhem that took place on Halloween of that year Allyson leaves Haddonfield, Illinois to start fresh. She learns some tragic news that changes her life going forward. Smith’s Grove has an unexpected guest and it doesn’t end well. The more Allyson starts to have more nightmares and the more she start to hallucinate more tragic things happen in the town of Russellville, Illinois. Allyson would be on the news for being reported “MISSING” and “DO NOT APPROACH” because of how dangerous she’s become, after she escapes Smith’s Grove Sanitarium just when things can’t get any worse they do, she would be on trial for the “murder” of Laurie Strode. Towards the end of the film she visits rehab to seek help from a therapist and we see a change in Allyson’s behavior for a while. But she gets tempted to do one more crime after being her normal self, the crime that she was tempted to do turns out to be a lot more serious than she thought. The end of the film Allyson leaves an interrogation room to go back to her new house, where she puts on a very familiar looking mask then leaves the house ending her rampage in Russellville, Illinois.
More Details:
* It would be awesome to have the movie be filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah where Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers (1995) were filmed at.
* Just like at the end of Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers (1988) with Jamie Lloyd turning evil, Halloween: Reborn would have a female killer which would be revealed to be Allyson. And this movie would have the great fall atmosphere that was in Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers (1988).
* Halloween: Kills (2021) was filmed in the fall and when it came out it looked fantastic especially the fall atmosphere and the movie was a really good movie. It would be really freaking cool if “Halloween: Reborn” was to be filmed during the fall (more specifically sometime in September).
* Christopher Nelson, Vincent Van Dike return to this illustrious franchise and create some glorious looking masks for this movie.
* Speaking of Christopher Nelson he killed it when came to making the mask for the last three “Halloween” movies and he dud a fantastic job with the SFX as well.
* My back up plan would be to have Jason Baker helped Tom Savini make the Grabber mask for “The Black Phone”. It would be very interesting to see Jason Baker make a Michael Myers mask and it could be just as great the masks that Christopher Nelson made.
* I find movies that are filmed in 4K or that has 4K resolution is awesome and it makes the movie look sharper and overall more enjoyable than 1080p HD footage. 4K is a complex format.
* Another thing I find important is having really good sound quality for a movie. Dolby Atmos is atmospheric sound which moves and travels to the speakers to create a life like audio experience. Instead of just hearing sound from certain areas, it actually moves through speakers and sounds like it would in a real life scenario.
* I think it would be amazing if this movie had a grainy look to it just like the films known as The Exorcism Of Emily Rose (2005), Sinister (2012), The Black Phone (2022) and his anthology segment called “Dreamkill” which was the last segment on V/H/S/85 (2023). Which all the films I mentioned are directed by Scott Derrickson.

Relative Evil: A Halloween Tale - A ten episode long limited series much the Netflix series “Dahmer Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”. It would be about Allyson the granddaughter of Laurie Strode from Halloween (2018), Halloween: Kills (2021), Halloween: Ends (2022).
Synopsis:
This limited series that focuses on Allyson is going to be on the same course but grittier since the events of Halloween: Ends (2022) we saw a shift in her life compared to when we first saw Allyson. “Relative Evil: A Halloween Tale” would pick up a year later since the events of “Halloween: Reborn” and this series would tackle stuff that’s bothering her and people that are bothering her as well as more controversial topics. Glass Hill Sanitarium, Haddonfield Memorial Hospital would play a part in the story and the remaining survivors of the previous film would get their own focus episodes. Allyson would go through a redemption arc at some point in this series it’s 10 episodes and it’s 45 minutes long but you would still get the Allyson that you got to know from the previous films (Halloween 2018 to Halloween: Reborn). Russellville, Santa Mira would play a part in the overall story as well. You will get to see a more dark and more life based where it’s still darker it’s going to be more of the complexity but with a little bit of the grittier lighthearted stuff throughout the season to make it a even balance between the range of topics.
More Details:
* Mike Flanagan the director of “Hush”, “The Haunting Of Hill House”, “Midnight Mass”, “Doctor Sleep” and “The Fall Of The House Of Usher” would be the director.
* The story would be by me but If it was up to me I would pick Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan would be the writers for the episodes.
* The episodes would long 45 minutes.
* This series would only be 10 episodes long.
* Relative Evil: A Halloween Tale would be more character based and just the overall story. It would have some brutal and really creative kills here and there but not just for the sake of kills that don’t fit the story.
* Relative Evil: A Halloween Tale WILL ANSWER the questions that were asked in Halloween: Reborn. Instead of raising more questions.
* My first choice would be to have this series to air on Peacock TV if not with Peacock TV then I would go with Netflix.
* Both Mike Chibante and Tyler Falcoa would do the score for this limited series.
* Some episodes would be from Allyson’s P.O.V. and some of the other episodes would be from supporting characters P.O.V. but being respectful to all of the characters.
* Relative Evil: A Halloween Tale would jump through time in terms of format.
I don't mind her returning, but she needs to understand she's Donald Pleasence circa Halloween 4 & 5, due to age. She will always have her name above the title, but she needs to be more of a Loomis-role. She's there, but most of the movie is Andi Matichak's or some other actress. Laurie is there to remind the audience "Michael is evil" and she can come in in the final act to kick arse ala Loomis, but for the most part she's in the background.

I had a enough of Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Myers they need to do something different with Halloween.
Not to quote one of my least favorite movies in the franchise.... but Laurie said it herself: "Evil doesn't die, it changes shape". And I did JUST say it in my ranking that I don't accept "Halloween Ends" as the ending, and I will wait for another. So I wouldn't be terribly mad at another movie with Laurie in it in some capacity... But maybe this could be the time to revisit the Thorn trilogy??? I'd definitely be down for that.
Also keep in mind we didn’t see Corey’s body zipped up and taken out. So glad you watched all these Marianna!
I can be wrong but I think even for the general audience this gimmick of bringing back Jamie Lee fells tired already. It saves the franchise in H20, but I think even on the David Gordon Green's trilogy she was one of the elements but not the main one as she was in H20 where she was at the pick of her carrear, I guess. It has to wait another 20 years with Michael and Laurie in their eighties.

We are less than 4 years away from the 50th anniversary. I would be amazed if they didn't do something for that. And maybe she's realizing people aren't happy with Ends and perhaps they'd correct that error.
I’m with you Lee. I think Laurie Strode should be done for. As much as I love Jamie Lee Curtis. For me they’ve done everything that they could with that character. They explored her character 20 years. They did it as well with 40 years too. I just think they did everything that they could with her. There nothing really new that you could do. Maybe you can find a way to do something new. But I just don’t see it. So I think the character of Laurie Strode should just be done for.
No one can replace her as Laurie. If she wants in, the creators will always leave the door open for her. I'm more excited for the Dr. Loomis prequel HBO is planning to make. That is an untapped well of psychological horror. A man whose job is to deal with the irrational violent nature of patients like Michael.
When writing my film I ignored all sequels and focused on Loomis and his obsession with Myers .. then jumped into 2023 .. it's easier to go that direction
They could be making a Halloween Resurrection sequel tbh if fans like it or not. Thats legit the only timeline where you could bring her back with Michael vs Laurie again, I have a strong feeling that they could be making a Halloween Resurrection sequel tbh. I honestly can’t think of any other timeline where it would make sense for her to come back again. Will they do another H20 and H18 again? A sequel to Ends? I think they’ve got to do something different, to be honest.
Since this "New Halloween Project" is going to include a TV series, they could actually bring back the Cult of Thorn and connect H6, H20, and Resurrection. It only makes sense if you're going to make a series featuring Michael Myers that's worth watching. And when the TV series ends, there could be a movie, as I remember hearing somewhere. From observation, it could feature Laurie and Michael again, as always lol, but this time maybe with Thorn Myers? But Who knows at this point.
For a TV series, they’re going to need a lot of content if they want to make it interesting for anyone.
Unless it’s a complete clean slate, they could do another remake or reboot, but honestly… that wouldn’t make much sense. If Jamie Lee wants to come back, she’d be a older Laurie with no history since it won't be connected to no timeline in that remake, so no, I think a remake is a no-go. A requel might not work either. I think a sequel to one of the existing timelines is most likely outcome for a TV Series and potential movie.

Jamie Lee should play a character named Laurie as a patient in a hospital who is the opening victim in a Scream movie. She could have a brother character named Michael who would likely be a red herring, or maybe not.
How many times, are we going to go to the well? Unless there’s some kind of groundbreaking, visionary script, I just can’t imagine where this series goes, to provide a new perspective. I suspect JLC simply wants to pad her bank account.
Obviously Jamie Lee is trolling, but if she ever came back it would most likely be a very small role with a few speaking lines as a nod to the original, although I still think the last Halloween trilogy is too fresh in our minds for small role to have any nostalgic quality. In terms of Halloween moving forward, they really do NEED a young, Bankable face to help carry the films, and honestly there are plenty to choose from. Kathryn Newton, Maika Monroe, Mia Goth, Samara Weaving, and Anya Taylor Joy are just a few, or we could POSSIBLY find a new unknown star, and a few other older film vets as solid supporting cast. At this point with Halloween, it would be pretty difficult to find a fresh, interesting story...either they are going to have to reboot it entirely, or do another continuation of one of the earlier movies and branch off in another "Timeline".

This is the only way I see the story continuing after Halloween Ends with Laurie involved. Before Corey died, he got Allyson pregnant. Laurie kept Michael's mask, which we saw laying on the living room table at the end of Halloween Ends. Guess who's gonna feel the mask calling to him on Halloween night, find it, put it on and murder Laurie upstairs? “HALLOWEEN REBORN"

Personally I love Jamie Lee in any Halloween movie. If she does happen to come back to the Franchise maybe it may not nessasarily mean coming back as a character in the movie, maybe she'll do something different like directing or executive produce for the Franchise. Any way to still contribute and still remain a huge part of this awesome Franchise we all love, anyway that's my opinion. 💖
As much as I enjoy seeing JLC on screen, Ends provided her with a fitting send-off and the best farewell for the character. I doubt she's going to return and will instead lean towards the notion that she's referencing how the film business can be erratic.

I’m mixed on this idk I wouldn’t mind it if they continued from H20 or H2. But there’s really no more story to tell for now. They need to do the Michael and Loomis tv show. We haven’t had a good Michael and Loomis story since H4

I'm not against her playing a role in the Halloween universe. However, we've had several conclusions of her role as Laurie Strode, and I think it should stay that way. I know this would receive a lot of hate but I would love to see her take on the Dr. Loomis character. I don't want to see anything similar to what we've seen before from her or Donald Pleasence. I know she is a well respected actress, but after seeing the part she played in the series, The Bear, I have a new admiration for her work. I would love to see her develop into an unhinged Loomis, like one we have never seen before. Thanks for reading and I love your channel!
I agree about Halloween Ends its an awesome movie, the only bad part imo is the ending where Lauries gotta defeat Michael. I wouldve prefered a darker ending
I know I’m super in the minority but I like the Cult of Thorn idea more than I like JLC. If they wanna peak my interest at all with JLC, bring her back, different timeline, different character. As the leader of the cult of thorn. I’d be in for that.

Man, as a long time super fan of the Halloween franchise, I say enough is enough. I was supporting David G.G. trilogy, just as I was trying my best to tolerate stuff like "Resurrection" and so on, and so on.... but I really think that "H-ends" should be THE ending. Once for all. I really don 't see where and how the story should continue, whose story wasn't finished and wrapped, how could they possibly resurrect Michael.....and I don 't have a clue to answer any of those questions. Every attempt to continue this franchise with MM as a shape, and Laurie Strode as his No1 target can only be milking the poor cow, that doesn 't have any milk in her body for years now. Bottom line: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

My favorites are mostly the ones without her I believe. H20 is REALLY low on my ranking.
I think it would be nice if we got a movie where Laurie wins and it wasn't immediately retconned, or the screen wasn't wasted on a character that we just met in that movie

I want it to be just another sequel. No more reboots. It takes place in the year its produced. Everything thats gone down before has happened with people referring to all the various movies as "nobody even really knows the truth". Whole new cast and characters, references to the old ones, maybe a surprise guest comes back! Michael shows up on Halloween and has a party. aybe a new babysitter and her friends.
New kills. No recreating old ones.

I think this franchise doesn’t need her anymore maybe Laurie strode but not being played by her. Halloween ends was her final movie and period ! Besides this would confuse casual audiences!!!! Curtis doesn't need Halloween anymore, and I don't think Halloween needs her. But I'm not opposed to her coming back someday if it wasn't with the 2018 trilogy storyline / version of Laurie. A completely new storyline and a new Laurie or version closer to H20 could be amazing tbh.

I think it was more of a general, vague statement than an indicator of anything to come. And who knows? She might be referring to possibly coming on as some kind of a producer in a Halloween property. I definitely think her time has passed for being Laurie Strode in a Halloween movie. And please keep her away from writing or even partial writing credit with a Halloween movie, otherwise we’re going to get some kind of shoehorned social statement I suspect.

I'm honestly okay with whatever. I love the Halloween franchise and even watch the Halloween movies that I wasn't as crazy about. So with or without JLC I'm okay either way.
I mean I feel she only said it just to get people talking and also the fact that it truly is a never say never deal. Do I think she will come back? No. But if she did for say another anniversary film in say 2028 I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I’d honestly be excited for it. I love Jamie Lee Curtis and I’m probably in a minority but I’d like to see her come back just as long as there’s a story worth telling and she wants to come back. With that being said though id rather see the series either a do a follow up to Halloween 4 or a follow up to the original but focusing on dr. Loomis.

bigger and better then Kills, Write a script for it in 30mins, that goes downhill 10 levels, then divided it by 2, throw a pie on it and call it a day that it makes Resurrection look great :( I need Ends to be remade tbh. or go back to Kills, make an extra hour ending it.
They need to shift gears with Halloween franchise. I think they need to try the anthology idea they wanted to do with Halloween iii season of the witch. I actually would love to see a continuation of that story than another Michael Myers movie now
I don’t and never will get people that would not want the Original people actors to come back as their original characters. I mean that’s like saying you don’t wanna see the original Ghostbusters crew come back.
First of all, I think the Halloween franchise could use another 4 or 5 years off but they need to do a few things.
Start fresh and no longer try to connect timelines or use the original movie again.
Move on from Jamie and retire the Laurie character
We need a new take on Michael Myers and a completely different story. No reboots, remakes, prequels or legacy sequels.
