- Sam Allardyce says England's performance in their 1-1 draw against Denmark was 'extremely lucky'. He says that he would be in the changing room at half-time yelling "what are you playing at?!" to give them a 'kick up the backside'.
England played Denmark in the 2024 Euros and drew 1-1.

Jeez, Dont all countries have a really long season, i think that its more to do with money,England players get paid 2 1/2 to 3 thousand per game, & that goes straight to a charity of their choice.
To come from roughly 250 grand a week to nothing is whats at the crux of it, i dont think that they can be bothered, they seem to just wander around the pitch for most of the time, expecting other players to take up the slack, they dont seem to all be on the same page, & there's no money in it for them, i think that they feel that they should be getting paid, & that's at the back of their mind. Ben White had the best idea, he declined to play when Southgate called him up, that was a very smart move.
