The audience began to reflect the studio version of the song after realizing that wasn't being included. It's actually my absolute favorite part about this song.
Oh my god what..... That is exactly what happened 😅😅. I was just walking down the road and randomly thought of it out of the blue. I don’t even really know this song >_>
This song brings back wonderful memories for me. I miss the Summer of 1979! I was a lot more optimistic & happier then. I need a time machine badly! Bravo, Cheap Trick!
I swear, this song makes me cry because it’s so amazing. Especially the chorus. I have an emotional connection to this song, and I don’t know how I got it.
I remember my daddy on a Sunday morning fixing his speakers or just fixing things around the house with this song and many 80s hits all around the house. My siblings and I would play outside. I thank God for the beautiful family he gave me ❤️😭I’m 33 now and this song came to my head and it just opened up memories 😢My parents are alive and well though just remembered when I was a little girl and how bad I wanted to grow up 🥹
I remember taking a trip to Vermont back in 2006 with my friend and we were driving in a rental on a very pretty highway in the middle of nowhere. She was fast asleep as I drove and I remember this overwhelming feeling of loneliness and sadness hit me because I was in an unfamiliar place and though it was green and beautiful, it wasn’t home. I prayed to The Lord and said, are you here with me? Even in this place I don’t know? I was crying as I said that prayer, that’s how lonely and isolated I felt in that moment. It wasn’t even ten seconds that passed when all of a sudden this song came onto the radio and I knew without a shadow of a doubt it was from God, himself. The crying turned to a smile and all I felt was joy the rest of that trip.
I am a 90's child, and I love this song. Though I'm still not sure when it was released, since the first time I heard it I found myself adoring it. Old songs like these just tend to just capture my interest to a point of absolution.
Im 62- grew up with this classic. Im in a committed relationship but see.s 1 way now. I feel unwanted, un-needed and thissong is my ballad right now. Its hard when youre so sensually into your woman but she isnt reciprocating. I dont know what to do except just listen. Love.
Just heard this song on the radio, and now I can't stop listening to it. Why would anyone dislike this love song? I feel like this song will come out in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3
I absolutely love this hit by Cheap Trick! Being a young black kid growing up in TX . All styles and flavors where played in my house when it came to 🎶. For some that may not know country artist Dwight Yoakum covered this track in the nineties. I have it on a greatest hits cassette tape from back in the day.
This was my parents song. They were together for 27 years. They just split up a couple months ago. They said they grew apart. It makes me so sad. My whole life, they've been together. I remember them always listening to this

Amazing song, makes me smile and cry and want to go to a karaoke bar all at once. I've played this video on repeat 5 times already. I am belting it out super loud and having a blast!
What a great song. Even for those who may not take to the syrupy lyrics, Rick Nielsen's great guitar licks can more than compensate for any perceived lyrical shortcomings.
I’ve been a Cheap Trick fan for over 45 years & I’ll say it til my dying day; you’ll never find a more kick-ass band on the planet. Between Robin Zander on Rhythm guitar & vocals; Rick Anderson, on lead guitar & Bun E. Carlos, on drums. They’ll tear the house down, every time.
Lol, still a good song, though and great band. Saw them in concert & tried to enjoy it back. Glad I got to go to that outdoor concert, where it was, maybe will get to go to another one ...........
Yes , most definitely one of the best damn songs ever in my life at this moment... thank you,you incredible bass player 3 .....begging for it... great job 😎❤️🌈🍻

You can't judge how good a song is by it's age. If it's a good song it's a good song despite it's age and this is an AWESOME song.

I always loved Cheap Trick. Kind of a theme song for some of the good times in the 80's amidst all the sorrow.
2:00 - Took me years to notice that the screaming girls were also screaming "Cryin', cryin', cryin'."
I never could understand what they were screaming. Thanks for the clarification.

It's actually my absolute favorite part about this song.

I've loved this song for 45 years! It still makes me want to get up and dance. Rock on.

I went to see them 2 days ago here in Illinois. And I was rocking this song.
