Those are all beautiful clocks! ❤️ If I were in the market to buy a clock I would buy one from you, now seeing all the meticulous care you have taken with each one to clean and care for them.Have a good day!
My grandma had one just like the mahogany one you have there. I don't know what happened to it? She was almost 107 when she passed and it kept perfect time.
Oh my God thank you Duane and Amy so much for my clock I just received it today Sunday I believe it's January 28th or 29th I am so over the moon thank you you guys are awesome awesome awesome the clock is even beautifuler than I remembered thank you oh I'm so so happy Lisa sharing life stories with you
Thank you Lisa for being part of our Frugal Family. Sorry about the alarm. The part would cost more than the clock, if I could find one. I have over 100 spare springs and winders for alarm clocks and none of them fit. The clock does keep good time. Belated Merry Christmas. FD.
@@the_clock_guy I am so happy to have that clock from you guys at the party you I just love the clock thank you thank you so much for well Daddy you and Amy are awesome people I just love you guys I wish I lived by you thank you for everything
Thank you Dwayne for showing these beautiful clocks I enjoyed it. Didn't know they had so many parts, what an intricate work. My grandmother had a clock on her mantle all my life very much like the second one from the end. Love and blessings
Hi Dwayne! Thankyou for this educational video! What's next? ANTIQUES ROAD SHOW? I hope this inspires some kids to pick up your rare skills! Bless you!&Amy& the kids& zoo! My impulse is to rearrange them gently on the mantle 😂🤭🤓🙂✌
@@the_clock_guy cool! When do we get to see you take one apart clean it and put it back together tutorials? Diys? Do u still have the mandolin? Check out shug hammock camper mandolin player
I wish you repaired watches as well. I bought an antique late 1800s gold filled 17 jeweled pocket watch for 100 dollars fully knowing that it didn't work. If I were to get it fixed it would be shipped out of state. I don't feel comfortable doing that.
Hello Clock Guy, I like your channel and your clock channel. Can you please do a video or tell me more about the Atmos to the far right of this video? Like what the model it is and what year it was made and the plating it has on it? Kind of looks like a nickel finish but not sure. Thanks. I really enjoyed your Atmos video on the 528-8 you did. I learned even more than I already knew about them. That was a very informative video.
Thank you Sir. I appreciate your video it's very informative to me. I'm always ready for a video from you. I love your channel. I also collected clocks.
Is it Dwayne or Duane? Anyway I would love to see a more detailed video on that Atmos clock you have now if you still have it. Thanks! I have suscribed to your channel and watched all your videos as I really like clocks. You have a very informative channel. Just by your voice you sometimes sound like Christian Slater. LOL
Very nice work. I have a French Mantle Clock with two matching candle holders. It’s made from marble and brass, early 1900s. I have no clue as to wear I can get a key. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hey Dwayne, How did you get started in horology, and could you show the tools that you use in clock repair. Im just starting to dip my toe in the waters mainlypocket watches.
Pocket watches are completely different from clocks. I know you wouldn't think so because their insides look the same, just smaller. That is the point, EVERYTHING is smaller! It's like working on a car with tools made for those giant dump trucks in the strip mines. Watches are so small that many of their tools are about holding the watch while you work on it. Many tools for clocks are the same as the one we would use around the house. I tell people that back in the 1800s all the repairman had to work with was a flathead screwdriver, a pliers, and a hammer. That is kinda what you need today for most clock repairs. Yes, there are tons of specialty tools to make a horologist life easier, but it's amazing how far you can go with those three tools. I would add a small bottle of synthetic clock oil with at least a 3" needle-like tip. The shorter tips can't oil behind the gear of the main shaft that the clock hands are on. Email me for more: theclockguy12@gmail.com
@@the_clock_guy I have a nice set of 3/4 drive sockets a big brakeover bar a bottle jack and a large chain wrench should be a good start LOL. I found that watch tools are expensive so far i have a nice nine piece set of Timelab screwdrivers. it will take a while to have enough tools to start. Then i plan on practising on junk movements before i dive into a nice watch. I do have a few old clocks that need servicing and i have thought about sending one off for repairs if i had a general idea of the cost. Regards James
Hi! I just found you! I have a very old clock that was my great aunts. There was a paper in it that is dust now that said, I think Beirman 18__. The ink was gone, and I’ve never been able to find anything about it. Might you know? Or have an email I could send a picture? I had an old retired man fix it, (he was in his 80s) it stopped when my aunt died. And he unfortunately replaced the face paper… when I went to pick it up he “surprised” me. 😮 It was too late then so…. Thank you I’ve subscribed and will be binge watching! 😂
theclockguy12@gmail.com Send pictures of front and anything inside if you can. And one of the newish paper face. I may have an original. I have tons of old parts. Thanks for watching.
I love old clocks, so more to enjoy when you look at, and take time to listen to them.

Thanks.
French clocks are my favorite! My French clock collection is growing fast!!! Fortunately, I am able to repair them myself.
They were real works of art. Unlike mass produced, plastic rubbish sold nowadays
I agree.
I concur!
Really nice 👍
