Can we get someone who is involved in English football and knows English football? EFL is a vastly different game than the other European leagues. I once heard a football manager commented that if you take out the top 4-5 teams from European top leagues, the remaining teams in those leagues are pretty much the caliber of our Championship division. Winning the Dutch or Belgian or Italian league 10 years in a row is not as impressive as you think it might be.

JLo will be here till at least Christmas, despite the so called board meeting this week. Sullivan (despite it arguably being the most important role in the club) will not pay compensation for a new manager and/or pay compensation for JLo and his team to leave, which rules out managers in work.
Dont be surprised to see JLo being given till the end of the season IF we are not in serious relegation trouble, in the hope that he can turn it round.

His best spell at Juve ended in 2019 and when they reappointed him he left after 2 seasons, as he failed to impress. Plus he was out of work for these 2 years. If he was that good, why wasn't he snapped up? Managers who have been sacked or left are usually still out of work for a reason and we dont need someone living on a past reputation acheived 5 years ago

Allegri had a terrible time with Juventus during his second spell there whilst he's yet another pragmatic manager when we should be looking at a younger progressive manager.
De Zerbi would be my choice as he's unhappy at Marseille, he plays fantastic attacking football whilst he's a hot head so he would be constantly arguing with Sullivan so it would be a win, win, WIN appointment

In his first stint, between 2015-2020 he won the league every year and 4 out of 5 coppa’s. Scored 500+ goals in 270 odd games with a positive GD of over 300 in that time.
He made a mistake going back to Juventus to try and reach the ridiculous bar he set in his first stint with an ageing team.
Maybe Alex Ferguson will come out of retirement as his assistant as well! Can’t see this one happening, but you never know.
