  • Wanted to do a little more explanation of wiring the Farmall Super A with a new wiring harness from ‪@SteinerTractorParts‬ . The quality of the harness is absolutely beautiful! Hopefully this helps someone with rewiring your Super A.
I also explained a little more about the things that Ive done while enjoying some Blackberry Whiskey from ‪@BirdDogWhiskey‬ which tastes amazing!
Our house and shop are running off of solar power during this video as well as everyday!

Great video! My Super A’s wiring was in terrible shape when I bought it, so I made a New wiring harness myself. It was converted to 12V at some point. You’ve done a great job on the restoration, thanks again for sharing. Have a great day!

I’m working on a 12v A with a generator and voltage regulator. Boy is it confusing. Old farmer hack job and I’ve been trying to rewire while keeping the Mag. There is not much info for it.
I didn’t think to buy a pre made harness and wanted to save money reusing the old VR and Generator.
The only real difference other than 6v is I have a toggle light switch and not a 3 or 4 position. You’d think that would be easier, maybe so, but there is not a lot of info on a correct setup.
This helps me a bit so thank you!

It can definitely be a pain when someone has butchered the wiring harness! Im all for just replacing the harness with a replacement whenever I can, definitely makes things easier and safer!

My 1956 130 still has the cutout style regulator under the generator. And my wiring harness looks worse than yours if that seems possible. This is VERY informative info, Thank You.
