I've swam where sharks frequently pass through at Guildford Swan River but never encountered one. A big Tiger had been spotted the day we were there but they're usually just swimming through.
They're usually not keen on us so bites are exploratory, not predatory....unless it's a starving shark through sickness and/or old age. It wouldn't tickle but you're usually more inclined to live. The scar would be a great conversation starter at least😃
