...are you SURE you're not just ripping super-secret demo songs off the cart? Sounds so authentic, well done 👏

I bet this would be perfect for OoT and MM Randomizers! I bet my custom boss music would be perfect, too!

This almost sounds like a Wind Waker boss theme, namely the one in the Tower of the Gods.

Hello I am a big fan of your costum music / creations.
I want to ask you if you can do a costum smash bros theme ?
And yes this is different but also sounds like it is from a original Zelda

Thank you! Aha yeah the Smash Bros OSTs are great 👌 I’m no expert but they’re mostly arrangements of themes from the characters’ original games, right?

@@robotsonn Yes that's correct. But I mean the menu theme (like for example : Menu 1 - Super Smash Bros. Melee
or the menu theme from n64 smash). They are original smash bros style if you know what I mean. So my question is, if it is possible to create like a new track for a new smash theme or smash menu theme. That would be great in my opinion.

@@robotsonn Or another idea - a costum smash bros final destination theme or smash bros battlefield theme.
That can also be added in a rom hack later

what sort of mixing do you do while using these soundfonts? whenever i use an OOT or MM soundfont, usually the result sounds relatively flat, and not much at all like in the game

Great question… Since the sounds themselves don’t change at different velocities (like they would, say, with an orchestral library), I use velocity as a way of varying volume and adding that texture per note as I go. Then there’s panning - if you listen to the original OSTs with headphones in, you can pick up on where Kondo panned instruments and gave them each their own space. Occasionally, I’ll alter the release values for instruments too, which essentially acts to add reverb in a similar way as the envelope would on console, but I often try to avoid that just to stop myself relying on it and going overboard! And actually that’s probably pretty much it with these soundfonts. Hope that helps?

I got the soundfont from hylianmodding.com (though it seems like it's currently down) and I use Logic!
