After watching this video, I'm convinced you are the people I need to employ to undertake such a complex endeavor. I reside in northern Vermont and to be honest, I cannot locate a good local mechanic with the proper experience to do so. I was thinking of having my Acadia shipped out to you folks to do the job. Lmao really man!? Being a mechanic is a very stressful job. Simply smoking a cigarette is only dangerous to the person smoking and maybe second hand smoke. You need a good air to fuel ratio then a good spark for anything to actually ignite. You can throw a lit cigarette directly into five gallons of gas and it will go out. The shit gets scary when hardcore old school mechanics start torching frames and hardware right next to gas tanks made of metal or plastic. I miss the hard knocks of the old school too many pansies now a days
It really is a breeze with a lift, honestly. This method looks way more difficult but it is the only way most DIYers have. I know it’s much quicker and easier to just lift the vehicle and drop the whole carriage but unfortunately I don’t have a lift at the house and the concrete currently isn’t thick enough in out pole barn. Thanks

Just discovering you video. I'm in madison Wisconsin. Need a 2010 Buick either replace or remanufactured. Whats you contact? I'd trailer it over to you
I try not to give my personal contact information out over my channel so please email me at Thenewclayway@gmail.com I’ll be happy to help you out and give you an estimate for different directions that you can go
Yes you may You can look me up on Clays Ac and Auto Repair on Facebook and send me a private message You can email me at thenewclayway@gmail.com I’m sure you understand I do not give out my cell phone number over my TH-cam but if you email me or message me I will give it to you no problem look forward to speaking with you Erik
That’s most people’s way of doing it. … but there’s some people that do not have lifts and I do personally prefer doing it this way. It’s very very easy and straightforward but you know to each their own.
Mannnnn awesome video but shitttttt that's a lot of stuff to do . I have a 2010 GMC Acadia 3.6 but no way in hell I will attempt that.... I'm in Atlanta GA would love for u guys to fix my motor it has a knocking sound the oil pump failed & I just want to fix it ????
That would be a sweet video Eddie. No how we had a vehicle come from Atlanta Georgia. And get their engine rebuilt and replaced .we can send a transport over and get it it’s really not that expensive for us to pick it up. Call around to get some quotes locally and then get a hold of me . I think you’ll find that our prices will be in line with what you can get locally even after we ship it up here to Michigan. End it will still leave and have the three-year warranty on it. If that something you’re interested in doing private message me on my Facebook page please Aci and Auto Repair I’ll give you my personal cell phone number and give you a quote.
Sorry to say that’s probably one of the simplest parts of the procedure by loosening the bolts to the transfer case and pulling it back a quarter inch (no it doesn’t need to come off just needs to be moved back) it will slide right out and back in….. we do them all the time…… and never cut anything. Thanks for the kind words but I know we talked about that in the video.
I can agree with you if you’re replacing the whole thing but if you’re rebuilding it and you don’t have a lift disassembling it piece by piece is not really an issue especially if you don’t have a lift this video is extremely helpful for those types of folks which are generally the people watching TH-cam channels
You said in a driveway bit there is not drive way in your video .. MMM ill give anothers chanse to your channels but keep in mind nest time you said something just do it.
I know but ……. I’m not there any longer. Maybe in the future I will make a video on that …. Email me I want my story to be concrete facts . Thenewclayway@gmail.Com

Or you can email me at
Thenewclayway@gmail.com
Thank you so much I can do that
Yes because if anybody else can do it you can do it to Mark welcome to the channel!!!
I had to skip through your but I was curious if you had an idea on how long it takes coming through the front? I have to replace my mothers 3.6 on her 08 Acadia. I know it’s much quicker and easier to just lift the vehicle and drop the whole carriage but unfortunately I don’t have a lift at the house and the concrete currently isn’t thick enough in out pole barn. Thanks

The mechanic looks like the guy from the walking dead
Great video. This will work for the 2008 Buick enclave as well right??
Yes they are the same car
Thanks. Last question, I have to swap the engine. where do you recommend I get the engine from?
Call Jason at Austin Jordan Engines, tell him that Clay sent you and he will give you a great discount. He’s a really good guy you can at least get a Quote from him I’m sorry I don’t personally know how much he charges people on them but I know he does ship nationwide and has a warranty

Yes you may
You can look me up on Clays Ac and Auto Repair on Facebook and send me a private message
You can email me at thenewclayway@gmail.com
I’m sure you understand I do not give out my cell phone number over my TH-cam but if you email me or message me I will give it to you no problem look forward to speaking with you Erik
My way to remove this engine i do it from below is les work 100%.
@@sharpcarco Bossman I've been trying to find you on Facebook but no luck can u plz send me a txt or call 678)6930887

Don't buy a GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse, Saturn Outlook, or Buick Enclave.
Yeah GM really shit the bed on these things. Makes me wonder if it’s almost on purpose
@@sharpcarco GM knew the flaws but sold them anyway. They sold a lot of these along with the Equinox/Terrain which is just as bad if not worse.
awsome, awsome awsome
Yeah smoking a cigarette under a gasoline engine.💥💥💥💥💥🌚💥💥💥💥
And yet we’re all still living somehow…..
I know you are one of those people who wear a helmet when riding the merry-go-round.
@nojunkwork5735 I should’ve let him know that I often smoke cigarettes while I’m welding fuel tanks. that would’ve made his mind 🤯…
@@sharpcarco That's for sure.
Don't do it from the top if it's awd, I had to cut a piece of the transfer case to get it back in. Other then that great video
@@sharpcarco I didn't know it it could be taken out that simply or I would have done that for sure! Well I know for next time I appreciate the wisdom!
It’s faster to just drop it from the bottom.
I can agree with you if you’re replacing the whole thing but if you’re rebuilding it and you don’t have a lift disassembling it piece by piece is not really an issue especially if you don’t have a lift this video is extremely helpful for those types of folks which are generally the people watching TH-cam channels
really from under more easy 😂😂
Calling soon lol
I wanna be Al
FUKING AWEOSME!!!
You said in a driveway bit there is not drive way in your video .. MMM ill give anothers chanse to your channels but keep in mind nest time you said something just do it.
Why doesn't Lanny pay his bills. I never got paid to replace the failed engine when the crank shaft broke in half. 5.4 3 valve
I know but ……. I’m not there any longer. Maybe in the future I will make a video on that …. Email me I want my story to be concrete facts . Thenewclayway@gmail.Com
