DCS is now my favorite combat sim, You'd never shoot down any enemy with those 50 cals in il-2 GB. The sound is awesome in DCS as is the graphics. Good to see you flying allies in stead of those crappy German things lol. Hope to see you in the sky, Oh you still flying those migs, Was suppose to go up against you in the F-86 some time. Actually haven't flown it yet, still learning the P-51.

Cheers! Yeah I found that once I got the seat and joystick height set up right it was easier, but exercise is necessary - especially after a long break.
At the moment I agree, but IL-2 is just so much less frustrating with no weird bugs, painful issues every time I launch or performance issues. That said I haven't flown it in a while, the potential for DCS ww2 is clearer than ever and it's so close to being really, really good.

That'd be neat! Hopefully not one of the ambushed aircraft that didn't manage to put up a fight. Those aren't quite as fun or representative of skill.

if the anti-aircraft had been as accurate as on DCS, at the end of 1944 there would have been no aircraft in the skies.. 🤣
And IL2 makes me wonder why they even wasted money on AAA! I like it dangerous, but do wish it were more realistic.
