The two types of women to me is, either she loves the Lord or she doesn't. I feel like the virtuous women does and a nagging complaining wife doesn't. That's the way I've always felt when reading the Proverbs.
This is a great message for both men and women. All the qualities we want in a partner need to be in us first. Marriage is a partnership, and in any partnership whether is at work, sport or in anything else we must have our equals. If we settle for someone that is not our equal in essence, time will reveal that. But there are always nuggets along the way that a great deal of us choose to overlook, sadly. Now, I do not mean equal as in the material things, someone can be down on their luck having a difficult time, but their spirit shines through and they find a way out even if they need a little help. It is amazing and shows immense strength to ask for help when you truly need it. Now that is someone you want to form a partnership with, someone who sees the partnership as a unit and not a competition or how much they can get from the situation. 🙏
