Get ready for revamped action with even more Double goodness, as we got Double Dragon 2: The Revenge! Sequel to the NES classic, and what is the most praised game out of the DD trilogy. With greater beat'em up action, improved graphics, and actual simultaneous 2-player action, this is definitely a favorite for a lot of people for beat'em ups and 2-player playthroughs! Of course, what shines through the best, is the wonderful soundtrack, Kazunaka Yamane back at it again to show he's got the chops to compose a brilliant soundtrack, and what is arguably a better overall soundtrack from the first game, and the classic Michiya Hiarasawa sound driver complimenting Yamane's compositions even more, making this another staple and beloved game of the NES library!

I love the soundtrack from this game!!! For my personal taste not as much as the soundtrack from the first game, but I can say that this is one of the best soundtracks for the console.
Me and my sister used to beat this game many years ago and I can say that this is one of the most enjoyable two-player games out there for the NES.

A GREAT soundtrack. Most of the best VGM soundtracks have more franticness, or outright calm, this is somewhat uniquely in the middle. It's got the post apocalyptic punk city vibe, has the asian martial arts vibe, the heroic thing, then we get to the illusionist part and realize everybody else was just being manipulated, things arent what they seem, that vibe is in there too. I never go back to play this game, but it was perfect for its time, just nailed something we were so ready to love, and the soundtrack is so with it.

One suggestion: For the titles, instead of "8BitStereo - Game_Title", I'd suggest "Game_Title [8BitStereo]". This would allow your versions of the soundtracks to appear along with others of the same game when sorted alphabetically while still retaining the info that it is your version. Further, iTunes has a "grouping" tag, you could add "8BitStereo" to this as well, to help group all your versions together.
Anyway, as always, thanks for the fantastic work.

Thank you Niko! Better looking, better sounding, better most everything in DD2 (and that kickass super neon 80’s box art!!), I was surprised when I popped in DD1 the first time and the controls felt clunkier than an unoiled tin man, but DD1 always seemed to be cited as the “must-play” game of the series... Well, Super DD was actually the first one I played and had as a kid, and comparing the music of that to the nes games is quite unfair, but damn if that’s not the one I still listen to and play the most anyway. 👌
