How about more detail on the trailer, wheels and that it includes surge brakes? Also demonstrate the VTS (Variable Trim System) and Bimini top operation.
Will these work in a boat lift? I have a strap lift and currently have a 22' tritoon w/150 Yamaha. Metal tubes and metal frame. The switch has the molded plastic like the jet ski. Will the potoons on the SWITCH support the compression of a strap style boat lift???
One huge problem with this boat ,no side doors for boarding from the dock ,if your older you don't want to be jumping over a wall to board your vessel. Nor do you want to drag your pontoons unto the concrete on the ramp to board on the front. If they would correct that issue , id buy one in a heartbeat .
I just rented a Switch Cruise 21 with the 230 HP Rotax in Oregon. Slow, hard to get on plane, and slow turning with only two adults and five 8th graders, well below the 9-adult limit. They are sluggish even with a 60% load.
Steering wheels do not get the respect they deserve. Resting 1 hand on top of the wheel while drinking a beer or flipping off a jet ski that’s too close with the other is a very underrated thing
@@FlatOutMotorsportsIndy Good for you, but they even explain their delays on their web page. You're right, it is made by Bombardier, I ordered mine through the local Polaris dealer at the winter boat show so it was a slip up.
Bro'! You are awesome! Way to explain the Switch with humor and entertainment.
“Oh crap little Billy has fallen off his tube, (ladder drops) get in the boat”. Perfect !
Merch coming soon lol
Can you change the handle bars out to 18” ape hangers? 😎
OMG! This is a GREAT question.
First time to the channel, your video was entertaining and informative, cheers bro.
I told my wife I am never buying a boat or jet ski, until I saw this. Damn you sea-doo damn you to hell. Yes I will be buying one.
lol Sea-Doo does that a lot!
The guest appearance by your wife was a sweet close
this dude is fun and did a great job
Haha love the tongue in cheek humor!
Can you leave the switch at the marina for the season? Or does it need to be lifted out of the water like jet ski’s do
Dude you're hilarious!! Love the video!!
Thank you!

Loved this, hilarious 😂
We appreciate that, Earley. Thanks for visiting our channel :)
Such a fun way to do a video! 😂 very informative.
how much does it weigh, i wonder if my 4runner can tow it?? great review!!!
I had a 2016 4Runner and it could haul 6,000 lbs. It would be no problem. You could get 21 footer and it weighs about 3,300 lbs with the trailer.
How does this fair in bigger lakes that rarely have calm waters?
Not good on big rough bodies... Need a longer one with larger pontoons for that...
Anyone been on the 18’ in choppy water?

Yes... my lift was just configured to accomodate the Switch
Subscribed for your correct nautical terminology knowledge & amazing presentation skills 👏
Welcome aboard!
Great Narrative!
Awesome, honey doo list! LOL
I really want one but I’m not sure if I want 170 hp or the 230 hp 18 foot sport
Good stuff Bro..thanks!
Ove rhis so Much!!!
Nice demo
I wish yamaha made something like this; I trust their engines. This looks amazing tho.. never thought I’d want a pontoon boat lol 😂
I would definitely pass on this boat.
The only good thing is how easy it is to move around the ramp and boat dock.
Love this

There is a door on the front but I agree a side door would be nice.
@@THEKITPLUG having a door on the front is useless at a standard dock.
@@williamgleaton2992 It wouldn't be if the platform was wide enough. Unfortunately, it's not. They really do need a side gate.
How easily would the hull break?

Something wrong with that one
Anyone know if the interiors will be offered in any other colors besides grey on grey? Not really digging the all grey everything.
This year everything will be in gray. BRP may release other colors in the future.
Holy crap my wife are dying laughing
We love to hear that!
That literally looks like a thousand trips to the warranty department for my family and I, one trip out and we are guaranteed to break SOMETHING
Why do you say that
@@redman2751 Because we are hard on things? Lots of plastic, things are not built the way they were 40 years ago, Take your pick.
@@erickohlhorst747 hmm ok, was just curious what you were saying.
*for my family and ME

If the Switch is like other Sea-doo's, it's bound to be a submarine.

If you want to order one, do it now and you might get it in 2 years. Polaris is horribly behind schedule right now: I speak from experience.
Sea-Doo is BRP not Polaris. We currently have 3 Switches on our showroom floor ready for summer. Check out our website for more info

Price wise, this looks like the way to go... All the other pontoons are way overpriced now...
Plastic is fantastic. Disposable future.
I thought more affordable
They don't use "jet engines" they use internal combustion engines to power a jet pump.
Figure of speech
@@creationlabsinc.189 I am just being picky, I do the same thing when "motors" and "engines" are confused.
I really think you should quit your job and go try to be a movie star you are very likeable guy and funny too.
Handle bars. Nooooo deal breaker for sure .!!
I’ll wait for electric in a few years. I’m over petro.
Sexist? Yes. Realistic? Also yes.
I hear they suck
Was wondering why everyone these days is covered with tattoos. Then I saw his wife :(
The one useful piece of equipment that you will be using at some point is the life vest. Enjoy your plastic boat!
