I’m so lucky, I live a block away from one of the only free chargers in queens; also two super chargers 10 mins away. Glendale and QCM. Nice video haven’t been to the revel chargers yet
Wow, that's great feedback from the real world, I really appreciate your taking the time to comment. I grew up in Elmhurst Queens for my first year of life, a little young to remember ;)
This whole electric car thing is a scam as far as I'm concerned. The cost of charge the car. It's going to be close to gas and likely be higher in the future because the electric companies are going to have to upgrade the wiring to keep up with the man and new power stations will have to be built. And another thing, the cost to repair a Tesla is ridiculously high that some insurance companies will completely total the car over minor damage. Also, the performance of the battery changes in extreme heat and extreme cold and New York gets very cold winter sometimes so the range will reduce significantly
All valid concerns, so I went solar at home. Not viable for many I realize, but at least I'm driving on sunbeams now, and owning my 2018 Model 3 for these past 4.5 years and 76,000 miles has been so much cheaper than any of the many Honda Civic's I've driven these past 30 years. But again, that's just me, and it was harder and more costly to achieve than it should be. But I'm trying, and I'm glad the EVs are getting much less expensive lately.
I have DC Fast Charged at Tesla Superchargers over a hundred times these past 56,000 miles, averaging about 25 minutes, only when doing long road trips. Most of the time I charge at home overnight.
@@hymlog Go sell your inexpensive gas car for an electric car for $40k then go tell yourself your saving gas....and let's not forget the environment. Then wait a month count your savings as you pay off your $40k car🤣 Then go watch a real documentary called PLANET OF THE HUMANS

Yes you have to pay for parking. People are now sticking the cable through the fence late nights to avoid paying the fee to park there.

Charging a car is LAME....AS FAR AS THE ENVIRONMENT ?
It is gone too late. I am NOT SITTING WITH A CAR CHARGING FOR 20 TO 100 HOUR

....Where do You See People Sitting Charging Cars for 20 to 100 hours?
Show us so we can see what You See... Your Comment IS LAME!
Exactly who wants to sit around for 20 or 30 minutes to charge a car where I can fill my car in 5 minutes with gas?
