Everyone loves mega man X but i don't hear a lot of those people say that X3 was there favorite mega man X game. X3 has everything mega man X had but better. I remember playing as zero in the opening stage here and i was like holy crap zero is badass. Little did i know if you collect all the upgrades and beat all the bosses the right way you can become more powerful then zero in the first stage. That's why MMX3 will always be my favorite MM game
I can see where your coming from music is important in these game, especially Mega Man witch usually has a solid soundtrack. MMX3 had a few good track outside of the opening stage (Witch is one of my favorite opening stage music in a video game). Volt Catfish, Crush Crawfish, and my favorite stage Gravity Beetle all had awesome music. I swear Gravity Beetle is my favorite Mega Man song ever in any of the series
Yeah, intro/Zero's theme and Gravity Beetle (maybe Neon Tiger) were easily the best out of the entire soundtrack. Which is really a shame; Mega Man's known for almost NEVER having a bad soundtrack.
Man, I'd actually LOVE to see a Maverick Hunter X2. Just think of shit they could do with stuff like the X-Hunter's first-stage theme. 'Course, only a couple songs from the first MHX were decent, but still.
Honestly I liked the SNES tracks myself. X's music never bored me (well except X7's tunes, which were largely forgettable anyway). Toxic Seahorse, Crush Crawfish, Volt Catfish and Neon Tiger were among my favorite stage themes.
I would love to see that as well, but if you really want some awesome X-Hunter stage theme, just search for X hunted maverick rising on youtube and click the first video. And here we go..~
It's the same with Mega Man II Wily Stage 1 & 2, tracks like those set a bar really high. I don't think X3 Soundtrack was bad at all, it was decent, it just couldn't keep up with X and X2, but then again, give Capcom time, they ruined X OST with Maverick Hunter X, X2 will surely follow...But eh, who cares as long we got OCR
I can't speak for anyone else, but MMX was always my favorite in the series mostly because I liked the level and enemy design more than I liked the subsequent games. As cool as playing as Zero is, I still think the way they implemented that feature was frustrating garbage. One death, and no, sorry, you can't use him ever again. I had a similar problem with the Ride Armors, just not really understanding how summoning them worked and the restrictions you had on it. X4 fixed a lot of that.

its fun to actually listen to this song while playing the opening stage
Freakin' excellent remix. X3 was a tricky mother at times, but the music for every stage kept me charging on through to the end.
Mega Man X3 has got to be one of my favourites, this brings back some good (and frustrating) memories.
Also, WillRock
Ooh.. I really like this one. Thanks for the remix!
Woah. Awesome.
the 2nd part of Frost Walrus is really good I remember that game very well
Pretty awesome track man
This is why we need another game with a fan-made soundtrack.

X2 had amazing tracks o.o
It's on the Mega Man X: Maverick Rising album

Good work, and the mixer picked one of the better tracks from X3. Just a shame that X3's music was bland over-all.
Not as good as this one in my opinion

They should let this guys into OCremix
I think it's impossible for Will to make crappy remixes.
The PlayStation port didn't help music matters. God, the tracks and sound effects were just terrible!
