Great job at DPG! Im getting into IC more and was wondering if this tech applies/doesnt apply to box users? I know the desync combos can require a lot of finesse with the stick and im curious if anything gets lost in translation when going to box. Thanks!
so L-cancel up air has 5 frames of lag and shac up air 4 frames? Since shac up air is so hard to do, why not just do L-cancel up air? Is the 1 frame really worth it?!
@@g_arm_ regular upair: 32 frames landing lag. L-cancelled upair: 16 frames landing lag. Autocancel upair: 4 frames landing lag. Hope that clears it up, sorry if I was unclear or said something wrong in the video!
I played ICs for fun at locals sometimes before the wobbling ban. When it got banned I didn't really play them for a while until 2022. I think I would have switched to ICs no matter what, but I definitely enjoy being a "pioneer" of the new age ICs combo game, so it's hard to tell if I really would have stuck with the character if I was wobbling all day.
@@MorphBall1 I think removing a strong combo finisher from a character will always force that character to become more creative and thus better in a sense. PAL Foxes like Leffen and Armada were among the best Foxes in the game, playing on a version where Fox's upsmash is significantly weaker made them better at certain things that NTSC Foxes never really worried about. So I think the ICs meta would be way ahead of where it was in 2019 if we reintroduced wobbling now. If we removed Fox upsmash for a few years and then put it back in, I think the Fox meta would also benefit from it.
Liking and subscribing because you acknowledged ledgehop ice block as an option after shine ff to ledge
I didn't know Nicki was ever not an Ice Climber main
thanks for this, hoping to learn ics in 2025 and do some cool things

mmmmmmm, didn't know fthrow was weight independent for consistency. Good to know.

Would you have switched to ICs if wobbling was still legal or do you prefer it being banned?

@@SSBMNicki So would you say the wobble ban was ultimately a good thing for the IC meta?
