Restoration of a Tiny Swiss Automatic Watch - Maurice Lacroix ETA 2671 Service

- This time i´am restoring a Swiss Ladies Automatic Watch.
It´s a Maurice Lacroix 1490, powered by an ETA 2671. It beats at 28800bph, the lift-angle of the balance is at 51° and it has a power reserve of 38 hours. This movement was released in the early 70´s but can be found in many ladies-watches even today.
The movement isn´t running at all, the crystal and the case is in a good condition but dirty.
I need to disassemble the whole movement, clean all the parts and re-assemble it with some fresh oil. This time it´s even harder to work on the movement. With only 17mm in diameter this movement and all of it´s parts are pretty tiny.
The hairspring of the balance is bent, i tried to fix the hairspring as good as possible. After some slight adjustments of the regulator pin it moves pretty nice again.
After polishing the case and cleaning the crystal, everything can be put together. The new black leather strap with the gold buckle matchs perfect to this watch.
I hope you liked this restoration, if so, like, comment and subscribe ;)

The quality of Maurice Lacroix is always high and worthwhile, glad to see that you gave it back life. The dial face of this watch with its guillochetting is simply beautiful❤️. Components seem to gold or brass which haven’t been abused of life🤩. Hope the owner appreciates this fine ladies watch and restoration which was done to it.👌👍
Sometimes when I watch a video, I forget to breathe. Thank you very much for the quality of workmanship, no eye remained dry :-)
Forgetting to breath was a problem. I noticed it went away when I started taking 3 mg melatonin at night ashwagonda 1300 mg ( I saw a comerical video claimed combination and 2 others ? Cause wt loss) to early on wt loss to tell

Genius. Ive just binge watched all your videos... amazing.
It's almost a shame such a beautiful small movement is hidden from view and never to be seen by most owners - except for now 😊
I’ve just done the same. It’s the best TH-cam find of 2020!
I know I'm late to this party, but what a lovely looking watch! It's a shame it doesn't have a glass back on so the movement can be admired too!

This is the first watch repair that I have ever seen where time delay is zero second per day. Hats off 😊

Lovely restoration! I turned the music down to my preference and as you don't talk that worked well. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos, I find them very relaxing.

Incredible, what an accomplishment! So beautiful the state you brought it back to! This is totally mesmerising.
Your videos are pure inspiration! I am in love with watches I think since from the first that my father gave me when I was 7 years old, a long time ago. the clock still exists and working.
Awesome work! You really did give this watch a new lease of life. Do keep making more and great videos!
Well you really did turn back the time on this watch👏👏👏
Your masterful work is more than enough... No need to add music, nor anything else, really for that matter. Thanks for the great video! Fred
Crazy how small the movement is. The watch all already is tiny and still it has a huge spacer
Liked and subbed from Denmark, Scandinavia. Oh, the tranquility while watching. Highly appreciated.
Found your videos by accident and I am loving them. I really like watches and how they function, but it is also really astonishing to see all the part being removed, cleaned and reassembled together! Your work is really remarkable!
You prolly dont care but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Coleman Simon Instablaster :)
@Callen Tyler thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Callen Tyler It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out :D
@Coleman Simon you are welcome xD
Stunning work. Beautiful watch, too.
Love to watch this, always thinking how is possible manufacturing such a small technique, perfect job. 👍
Schönes Video👍Bin auch Uhrmacher und habe heute dasselbe Kaliber ETA 2671 in einer Hebelein Damenarmbanduhr repariert. Das ETA 2671 Uhrwerk ist ein sehr solides Uhrwerk. Weiterhin viel Spaß in diesem tollen Beruf.
Exquisite timepiece...........remarkable restoration! Thank you for your incredible attention to detail. What an amazing skill set.....!
Very nice restoration - beautiful workmanship!
I will disagree with some comments on the music, it was great and amazing. Not only you picked an excellent music piece but combined with your magnificent video a new piece of artwork was created. Keep them coming.
So calming to watch.
That's such a beautiful watch. Excellent surgery!
Man, for as tiny as that movement is, it's of high quality. The sweep of that second hand is virtually flawless!
Who else has noticed Roman letter "IV" is on the dial as "IIII" ?
It's a beautiful wrist watch....falling love with it. 😍......🤤
Excellent restoration!
Thanks for this video, it's just wonderful to watch.
Amazing work, both as a watchmaker and a cameraman. A pleasure to watch a craftsman at work. Also what a pretty little movement, just shows in house movements are not all that.
Absolutely brilliant watch..
Some parts of this watch are gold
Thats a lot of work and steady hands good job man
genius. I've just binge-watched all your videos... It is amazing.
What a beautiful time piece.
I love that the blade of the case-opening knife is pretty much the same size of the housing of the watch..
Very clear vid and nice to watch the assembly
Beautiful watch!
Amazing work .
Piekna robota, to samo potrafie, dziekuje za film.
Nice clock, great job!
Amazing seeing how many tics it reads considering how antiquated a size of watch it is. Love this stuff man keep it up
Love these videos. Watching a master at work. Had to turn the volume down on this one, don't see the need for music.
Love the little sounds, music can go for me too.
The lighting and visual clarity showcases your excellent work so well, I wish my bench lighting was as good..👍🕰👏👏
To be honest... it's an Ikea lamp... 15$ 😂
These restorations are peaceful
That is gorgeous!
Gorgeous watch
Fantastic. Watchmakers are quiet geniuses. Seriously, they really are.
Bravo!!!....no cambien nada de cómo exhiben sus rutinas....Genial.
AMAZING WORK DUDE!
Indeed, your video are (at least for me) all about relaxing to the very small sounds of your latex gloves and all the small pieces that your delicatly grab. There is no need of any other kind of sound.
Great work tho
yup. ditch the musak.
I do agree.
What a beautiful watch!
Thats watch is a class...just loved it
Very nice keep up the great work.
You sir, are a magician!!

I don't even own a watch, but these videos are cool.
good job friend. congratulations from spain
yes this will work my spirit greatly hahaha maurice lacroix oh my god youre a genius
Well done 👍
Superb restoration! Made more challenging because it is such a tiny movement. Perhaps you risked a bit with such a small die when fixing back the crystal. But it worked! Congratulations.
I didn't notice the small die by now. But you are right, lucky me 😉
I got really scared when I saw the crystal being set with such small die, but it worked fine!
Excellent master.
the old swiss pocket knife trick nice very nice
Very skillful. Of course ! Thank you
Love the videos. Agree with others that your work is excellent. You are an artist at what you do. I can't even imagine being able to so this. Thanks for the video of your work.
Beautiful 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Good job 👍
Danke für die gelungene instruktion. Petit mouvement cal. 2671.
Well done ❤.
the internals on this watch were nicely polished; all machining marks removed. even cleaner than a rolex.
Good job.
Fantastic!
Thanks for the music 🎶
I'm glad to see the professionals use the same method as me for testing a watch at 0:18... :)))
😅
@@RedDeadRestoration Can you recommend any channel for a person to get started? I know next to nothing about these magical things but am totally fascinated watching (pardon the pun) them, and people working on them...
I also suddenly feel sick to my stomach when I see people spending 10k on an apple watch :((
@@StreetArtistsOfTheWorld who spends 10k on an apple watch?
@@jamescameron9420 Google "Apple Watch Edition 10k".
These morons are Apple's veins.

Прекрасное исполнение!
The end result is amazing! This is the first video out of four previously watched, that I've heard music on! The music matched what you were doing with the restoration, and the pace I thought it was refreshing!
That may be a ladies but I'd still wear it. Beautiful!
You wouldn’t want this statement quoted out of context!
Love that dial
You mak Thanos proud. Perfectly balanced as all things should be
فنان من الطراز الرفيع👍👏
Enjoyed video
Good mechanisms
nice watch
nice channel!
+0s/day very nice movement
Very Nice vídeo
Thank you for posting these!! I love your video style. Very quick and to the point. Are you showing all your oiling? If not that'd be the only thing that I'd change is showing the oiling process in more detail. I'm waiting on my own pots and moebius oils to arrive .
No I'm not showing all of the oiling. I think that would be sort of boring. Maybe I will add a video only for the oiling 😉
@@RedDeadRestoration that would be fantastic! Again thanks for posting these! I hope you get tons of subs!
a mechanic with a microscope and great work
Admiro su trabajo y he sido mejor relojero desde que veo sus vídeos 👏👏👏👏
