When Brian tried to interact with him, my brother gave him the coldest shoulder to a point Brian went over to my BIL whining that my brother didn't like him. My BIL noticed something and pressed him and eventually the rat spilled the beans. I don't know how my BIL responded but he kept the rat around for business only, that I know of, and bought my brother and I expensive stuff as an apology. The fact he listened to a friend over family was definitely a path of no return.
