I print labels with my HP laser printer on sticker paper and I use my Siser Romeo cutting machine to cut them out. This way I can create labels to whatever size or shape I need.
for like 600 or 700 bucks i think i may take a chance on a semi used one. i have the primera lx900 with a cutter added and it uses like 4 diff inks vs the 500c using 1 cartridge and i like the lx900 but i dont need labels that big so i posted it for sale to just get the 500c to print out small sticker business cards lol i hate ordering like 1000 business cards and then change my number and i get left with business cards that i cannot use anymore so for that reason i think i will benefit from the 500c and i understand being frustrated over those small situations but every problem has a solution and i like solving problems so i think it will come in handy for me.
I started with that printer too, and eventually switched to the LX 910 definitely has its pro and cons.
Honestly, I'm not too impressed with my LX500C either. I was having the same problems as you, and after watching your video, I took the wiper out and put it back in, and it fixed it. I still need help with it moving when I print many labels. I agree with the $$ we paid for it. It should print perfectly. (I also use it with a Mac)

Good information, you chased me off from this printer, TBH. I'll stick with high quality circle labels on sheets. I can refill my ink on both my Canons and Epson (the latter used for Sublimation). The proprietary ink cartridges on the Primera... no thanks. Cheers!
Yea if I had to do it over again I’d prob just buy an HP laser sooner. Lol

Do have a question how do line up your printer with online labels? I’m having some issues
Issues with my HP printer so I’m not sure what it could be for you. But make sure that your putting your label paper is in the actual inside tray and not the outside feeding tray (I hope that makes sense). If that doesn’t work, then try the opposite putting it on the outside feeding tray. Also check if your default scale is set to “Fit to Paper” to ensure you have accurate sizing.

What program do you recommend to design the labels for the lx500, for the roll labels canvas? avery?
Use Canva! It’s free and so versatile. Avery templates won’t print on lx500

I was thinking about getting the LX500c but but have been going back and forth on getting an HP laser printer. I have an inkjet and it’s fine but I would love better labels quality
Laser printer will 100% give you better quality labels. If I had to do it over again I’d go with the HP vs the LX.

I purchased this printer because I watched your video. I will say that it is difficult to get the alignment correct!!! Also, are you using Bar Tender?
Not used for bar tender since I have a Mac. That’s only for PC
