    Christian to make the beetle drift easier try pitting on your spare tyres. My friend does that and with only obe wheel that size all you need to do is whip it and it goes litterally sideways. So try having a pair of that spare size. Goodluck

    Give you credit for doing it. Do you have to take a the struts off on a super beetle?

      Thanks, still working on it years later but progress is progress. You will have to disconnect the struts on a super to remove the body

    Interested to see how you are going to fix the death foam rot I read about with the 70s beetles. When you remove the foam what do you replace it with?

      Nice! You won’t regret it. I’m actually swapping a 1.8t into it so I will definitely need to rewire. I’d recommend rewriting either way though. A full harness for a super is pretty cheap and you’ll definitely want new wires for a resto
