I like that Carlton always knew that he wasn’t physic and when Shawn finally admitted it, he didn’t want to hear it. I love lassie and Shawn’s relationship
I like how his dad is the only one who trusts Shawn with a gun. Despite his immaturity he knows Shawn will handle things well when the chips are down. He trained him from a young age because he knew he could handle it and needed to be properly trained
In the pilot episode Lassie's partner gives him a gun in the firing range and he nails a second hole into each of her bullet holes. He's got skills with a gun.
I would have loved to brake all that stuff, I think that destroying stuff is just pleasing to some people (apparently other people get majorly stressed from it)
I love the chop shop bit where he's rambling like a madman and then just leans in completely straight faced basically telling Jules and Lasiter "come on, how many more hints do I need to give?"
I feel the 2:15 moment in the second episode was the moment when Shawn decided he would roll with the "psychic" angle forever. In his first case he pretended so as not to get arrested, but at only his second case he still had plenty of opportunity to come clean and explain his abilities to the police, however this was also when he realised just how much fun it could be to mess around playing psychic.
The chop-shop scene is one of my favorites. "OH, CAMRY, YOU WERE TOO YOUNG TO GOOOO!!!" I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it. I still laugh hard when I see it again and again.
@@pghudd I'm so sorry 🙏 I got my dad's ex addicted to this show, it was very sad when we couldn't finish if together. Even if it brings pain, I would recommend watching at least the last episode, it's very good but also very sad (as it's the last episode). If you like zombies I would recommend the second to last episode, I hate zombies, so I hate the episode (only one I hate). I hope the pain fades over time ❤
I've always thought iconic fiction cars looked like the Impala from Suoernatural, not like this goofy, blue car, but boy, the Blueberry has proved me wrong.
I get my humor inspiration from this show. Some days I'm Shawn Spencer bullshitting someone. Some days I'm Shawn angry and vengeful. Sometimes I'm Gus and Shawn when it comes to food. I fucking love this show.
With Monk being my favorite series ever, and this one an incredibly close second, I had wished for a mashup movie of some sorts after Psych's final episode and the alluding to that Monk was rearranging the cabinets alphabetically in the kitchen. That would have been the ultimate show, to see Monk, Shawn and Gus mixing it up with Natalie, Jules, Lassie, Randy, Captain Stottlemeyer and Chief Vick.
there was no mistake. It was to show how “quickly” Shawn could pick up on clues and piece them together. They did it several times throughout that episode.
9:34 where is that scene from? I saw the whole series about 5 times but this scene was definitely NOT not my DVDs. Seems like I'll have to replace my DVDs with the US originals if they cut that scene out in my language... *EDIT It seems like this scene is from the musical episode*
This is always gonna be one of my favorite shows, but it very much bothers me that during the scene in the gun range Shawn asks for "something semi-automatic" and they give him a full auto rifle without explanation. It's incredibly misleading to the public.
I hate to be that guy, but in the gun range scene, he asked for a semi-automatic and they hated him an automatic. Please learn the difference, Hollywood.
I find it hilarious whenever Shawn has a vision in front of his dad. The sheer level of exasperation Henry has to go through...
lmaooo so true
Shawn always acts even more dramatic when Henry’s there cause he lives to exasperate his dad lol
I like that Carlton always knew that he wasn’t physic and when Shawn finally admitted it, he didn’t want to hear it. I love lassie and Shawn’s relationship

@@davidleobrent but despite Shawn repeatedly asking, he never gets a gun
@@matthewletexier they ignored the mans skills
When Lassie found out he was having a kid and got scared of dying, he offered his gun to Gus and Shawn, but Shawn didn’t take it
I love when Shawn gets all indignant when Lassie says he and his dad are the same person. "AM NOT!"
I feel like James Roday had a lot of fun destroying all that stuff
@I am MoreGregthenDanny Trust me Roday loved destroying and demolishing stuff. I'm pretty sure he couldn't wait be Insane for scenes
@@PsychCompilations were you part of the production cast?
@@matthewdaub Nah. I'm your average Psych-O making great compilations lol and I can tell Roday loved destroying stuff.
I mean I would as well
I would have loved to brake all that stuff, I think that destroying stuff is just pleasing to some people (apparently other people get majorly stressed from it)
It's kinda fun to see him be unhinged every once and a while 😁
I don't know why but I found Shawn more attractive when he completely lost it after his dad got shot...
Because you like men that don't play around
He loves his dad 50 50 percent
And hates him
One of the top 5 series ever
@@kvg3973 You sound like a very fun woman :)
But I’m bi soooooo
I can't imagine anyone else playing Shawn
I feel like a young Dafoe like in apocolyps now or however you spell it could play him well
Shawn is the epitome of chaotic
Naw
Watch Clayne Crawford in Lethal Weapon 👀
@@jdouce6074 Yes! I stopped watching the show after they killed him off
He is chaotic good
6:34-6:41 I keep forgetting just how much range James has as an actor
i loved that it was so perfect lmfao
God, I love it when Lassie grabs Shawn's belt and pulls him off the hood of the car to get behind him.
for some reason the hand off of the gun makes me laugh every time, he's just like 'here, have this back, i'm tired' XD
It IS a pretty cool scene!
"How many rules do these outs have?"
"A bunch. I don't even know all of them..."
none of these compilations mention the time he armed a previously unarmed bomb to get a culprit to incriminate themself under threat of death
I know right?! One of the best moments ever 😂
I’m just saying, if Shawn really wanted to, he could an FBI profiler
"if Shawn really wanted to" be anything he probably could be. That's what his dad, and everybody, found so frustrating about him.
He's much too ethical.
Shawn is a genius who acts like an immature idiot because its more fun.
Lassiter is really strong to pick up Shawn.
I love the chop shop bit where he's rambling like a madman and then just leans in completely straight faced basically telling Jules and Lasiter "come on, how many more hints do I need to give?"

The chop-shop scene is one of my favorites. "OH, CAMRY, YOU WERE TOO YOUNG TO GOOOO!!!" I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it. I still laugh hard when I see it again and again.
Gotta love how most of this is Shawn braking stuff or fighting with Lassy
The car chase is honestly insane to this day and I still love it! Honestly my favorite show to this day and that says a lot.

The Relationship with Lasy and Shawn is Iconic LOL
I love the slow-mo @0:42 bc Gus still walks normal, so either the special effect team messed up or Shawn’s being extra dramatic
omg i never noticed that before

O’hara and Lassiter were a great team
Seeing how easily Lassie manhandles Shawn around while cuffed and how much Shawn clearly enjoys it has me feeling all kind of ways 😅
Man, in a perfect world a Lethal Weapon ( Damon Wayans & Clayne Crawford) and Psych collab or spinoff would be so awesome
Is Shawn GLASS PROOF???
I know right!?!
I always forget how hot he was in the earlier seasons. I mean he's a cute, fine looking man later on as well, but seasons 1-4 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
This show has some major lapses in reason but Shawn and Gus are so charismatic I don’t even care

Excellent move by Lassiter around the 13:27 mark
I like it when Shawn is off the rails because he goes into beast mode
For the record, Sean asked for a semi-automatic weapon and they handed him a fully automatic weapon. Don't get it twisted.
