Every time I hear this and see the movie, I remember watching this with my Uncle Stan. He got me into the theatrics of Superman, saying that every young man has a hero to look up to, both in the real world and in the fictional world. RIP Uncle Stan, and thank you 🙏🏾. I love you and miss you.
Reeve is underrated. The saving graces of this film were: Him turning into evil Superman; his scenes with Lana; and Vera turning into a robot, the stuff of nightmares. Reeve also looks his best as Supes in this movie.
I liked it due to Evil Superman and Richard Pyror (even though Pryor had to deal with a bad script, but managed to pull off will with the material he got).

They were going to get Brainiac in the movie, however Ilya Salkind also made an idea to put Mr. Mxyzptlk into his own film of Superman III (along with Brainiac) and his vision of the imp had to be Dudley Moore in that role. Alongside Supergirl as well.
I’m pretty sure the Supergirl idea for the story was scrapped due to incest reasons, correct me if i’m wrong, but i heard that the original script featured superman and supergirl as couple, with brainiac being jealous

In this superman 3 soundtrack I notice there's a small pause in rhythm and beat etc from 0.20 seconds to 0.25 seconds where as superman 1 and 2 are different. The delay gives it a bit of a surprise and build up to the main music in the soundtrack.
I like some of the differences that Ken Thorne brought to the arrangements in both Superman 2 and 3. Just too bad they used a high school band to record the tracks. It's not bad it's just doesn't sound like a professional studio recording.

I was at Six Flags St. Louis yesterday, and JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle For Metropolis broke down for about an hour. Once it started testing, I played this.

Hey thanks. Then he smashes his ceramic work of the straight tower of Pisa
There was only a few good parts to this movie...where Superman saves the factory close to Smallville, saving Ricky from the corn/wheat grinder and the parts where he goes bad and fights himself.
I liked the romantic subplot with Lana, and a lot of Richard Pryor's antics. Otherwise, though, the copycat Lex Luthor, overall more comedic/camp approach, and off-kilter pacing made this adventure less than the others. (I even prefer Superman IV to III) Although, yes, some of the series GREATEST moments buried in here. Still a great watch. I watch this film every April Fools Day. Always cheers me up! Love Christopher Reeve's Superman! :D
Hot take….this is far more entertaining to listen than the original 1978 Royal Symphonic Orchestra recording, despite the fact the acoustics were far inferior & the band is smaller. This version is simply BETTER. The best Superman rendition then & since in-fact.

Cavill brought conflicting emotion but prior to Superman's death in Dawn Of Justice you see a bit of humanity emerge in Cavill's Superman when he tells Lois he loves her and that she and earth are his world.

I can't not love Superman IV. One thing that makes Christopher Reeve's portrayal superior is how well, almost over the top, he played Clark Kent. Superman IV was an absolute exhibition for him. There's little more hilarious to me than when Mariel Hemingway's character was approaching Clark Kent in the lobby of the hotel in that movie and he almost fell backwards and he just goes "hi"...that was greatness.

I like all the Reeve movies bro and proudly own them too. I never tire watching them either
I can't not love Superman IV. One thing that makes Christopher Reeve's portrayal superior is how well, almost over the top, he played Clark Kent. Superman IV was an absolute exhibition for him. There's little more hilarious to me than when Mariel Hemingway's character was approaching Clark Kent in the lobby of the hotel in that movie and he almost fell backwards and he just goes "hi"...that was greatness.

Unfortunately Christopher Reeve never nevertheless made it to his 60-80 age and whenever his accident happened on Saturday May 25th, 1995 they operated him by damages to his heart that’s why he should’ve not had a lousy heart attack on Sunday October 10th 2004 we miss his failure performance as Superman glad they all failed at the box office from 1978,1980,1983,1984,1987 but thankfully in 2006 Brandon routh his doppelgänger successful succeeded on Friday June 30th, 2006 pretty cool huh I’m not a punk just I see things differently than others that’s all and why peace and blessings to you all always thanks.
