Extremely scarce loot, yet a duffel bag and a katana on day one, nice.
I mean, im all for PZ and doing 100-day challenges, but this video just doesn't seem fun? bro had found around 7 katanas, and his whole stats got maxxed so quickly. Where's the point of surviving on your own, in a below average situation with your own wits and intelligence to outsmart a horde, while you've got a hammer?
What's the point of having a goal, such as getting 10k zombie kills, if you could get 1k kills a day? Shouldn't there be a checklist instead? They literally finished thr 10k kills on day 38?
well yeah, he installed someone elses mod, we dont really know how it works for all we know it could only affect some types of loot

As much as I love a good rags-to-riches tale, sometimes there's little more cathartic than a good old fashioned power fantasy
I love the struggle of being basically a turd trying to survive the impossible, but holy balls it was SO satisfying to be overpowered for once and just destroy everything.

Building enclosed spaces around generators sadly does not suppress the amount of noise, unless this was recently patched. Otherwise, zombies will hear it at the same distance.
Putting it into a small 1by1 little shed used to work in the older builds, clearly not anymore

had to stop at day 14. watched a good number of different 100days video. This is the first one I've watched that feels the narrating is rushed/fast pace without much pause in between days. I couldn't indulge a bit on day 9-12 and suddenly its day14.

I just started a series where i have started something similar. I took every positive trait surrounding survivability. Not all though as i tool none for survival against the weather. Just ones so its easier to not die to zeds. I also started in june, put everything high except loots etc. I threw over hundred mods on including doubling the mao size and am happily exploring all of eerie county before i head to mauldra for the winter. This game is so fun. Im 1000 hours into the game and have only done and seen maybe 27%

Man SW went through one hell of a journey filled with challenges and a lot of dead zombies . Like a lot of dead zombies to the point I think if you stack them on top of each other they're gonna be taller than the empire state building .

This is one game I returned as just have no time to play something like this. It takes hours to play this game. Wish this game came out when I was a teen but the older ya get the less time you have for gaming. 😭

Hey ive watched this video and i wanted to lnow, because there are lots of mods, which one give you the most positive traits? Im jus starting and wanna try things out on project zomboid
You can start a "sandbox custom" game and you'll get a menu prompt before character creation that allows you to change all the playthrough settings, no mods required as its a in game feature.(yet mods can be added) from there you can change your characters starting points and traits. Then when you click next, it will bring you to the character trait selection screen.
Be sure to save those settings if you wanna redo the same sandbox again, on the bottom of the menu. I like to date the ones I change to remember.
I find fast decomposing zombies saves my computer from meltdown. :)

What mod did you have that made items show up on counters and shelves and stuff? i looked through the description and looked at the steam workshop and couldn’t find it, i love the vid, keep up the great work!
What do you mean by that? Items on shelves is part of the base game.
Shelves and the such will show how populated they are depending on how full the container is. If you put canned foods on a bookshelf the shelf will look populated with books lol. There are tile and texture mods though

When do you have power and water set to turn off in your game?
Right from the start
I have to admit, the zombie loot really seemed to offset your extra ow loot setting. You had more katanas than japan at one point. Still, that was a really neat series with a lot being done. Once the station was rebuilt id say your next goal should be fishing and trapping so you have sustainable meat to go with your veggies.

extremely rare loot and you find several of the most rare items in the game, the katana... im playing an high loot game and only found 1 katana after like 3 months
Traits like lucky and grave robber make them possible to be found on zombies. I basically found not loot in containers etc. pretty much everything comes from zombie corpses and when you kill more than 40k of them, chances are you'll see some loot.
