@@BltchErica5 years and plays tremolo picking like if it was hard Bruh, 3 and 10 years is almost accurate, but in 5 years you are playing to evh or malmsteem 😅 and in 10 you just want to make some money
I’ve had my guitar for 5 years but I lost my love for it quickly. I’m starting to pick it up again and my motivation is learning my favorite song for my bsf who moved away. I really want an electric guitar bc I think they sound so pretty and idk I wanna learn different styles
This is encouraging. Just learned the crazy little thing called love solo and first time my teacher has shown me this, I was like:"how the f?". In 2 weeks I got it. Roughly 2 years of playing guitar (give or take, had a big hiatus) has gotten me here and I hope it gets me further
My local guitar center was pretty chill when I went there I asked if they had any riffs I couldn’t play and they said they didn’t care they just told me not to play stairway too loud
You're amazingly accurate in how I've played in those time periods. I've been playing for 9 months and the result is only slightly different from what you showed as a 1 year result.
I know a lot of johnny b. Goode and i have been playing for a little over a year and a half. Im working on it right now. Its nice to see a video that doesn't have you working on polyphia after a year.
I've been playing for 7 years and I can't get past your definition of a 1 year mark. I can however play a couple of songs by David Bowie, a couple leadbelly songs, a couple Foo fighters songs, 1 stone temple pilots song, 1 song by Oasis, 1 song by Weezer and literally EVERY Nirvana song. I'm not missing any. I can even play the home demo songs.
I think that when you reach 10 years old playing the guitar you play very quiet things, just to relax. At least that’s what happens to me who’s been playing for 8 years (This was translated with Google, I spoke Spanish lol)
Hey man, I’ve been progressing really fast (psychosocial solo in 8 months of playing) but you don’t have to be a dick to the people that are improving slower. Everyone learns at a different pace and everyone has different reasons for playing guitar and different ways of practicing and you gotta accept that.
@@AdamRocksOutYo what? You said you’ve only been playing for 8 months… he said he’s been playing for 10 years. At 10 YEARS these songs should be extremely easy. Nothing against new players. bro chill out
@@ElonMuskellunge ur saying “this is so easy new guitarists need to practice more”, that’s kinda mean dude you don’t know what might be making people progress slower but as a community it’s better to just be nice to everyone an improve as guitar players together don’t you think?? Je refuse de croire que tu maitrise through the fire and flames au bout de 5 ans de guitare 😅 cette chanson est d'une telle technicité qu'il faut plus de 10 ans de guitare pour réussir a la gérer parfaitement!
“10 years of playing guitar” but it’s just me playing 0-3-5 six different times with progressively stupid and expensive pedals
This is it.

this bro
Bro is NOT funny
I literally made an audible "Nooooo" when I saw the capo move to 2nd fret
I also made an audible "NOOOO" when he played Sweet Child o' Mine on bridge pickup
Bro i just had a look of disappointment 😂
Yes!

Weezer too.

Keep going man 👍
I mean it's fine you do you
Learn at your own pace, dont listen to anyone trying to tell you you need to be able to do certain things at certain times
Im a teacher and I completely agree. Nobody is the same and i feel like a lot of uprising guitars let that fly over their head.

I just wanna be able to jam on some blues, folk, country, and rock. That's enough for me. If some comes of it, cool, but I just want to play.
Johnny b. Good reminds me of back to the future

Nothing wrong about being a slow learner mate. Keep practicing! ❤
Honestly made me feel better about my progress
I didn't even need to hear a single note of the last song to know what it was
I screamed in terror when i saw the capo in the 2nd fret
I'd be happy to get that good in 3/5 years

It took me about 4 years to be able to sight read simple guitar tabs in one go.
I love this video. It’s so accurate and not made to show off how impressive they are at like a year or whatever
learn everything, just to play something you love
I think you should leave the 2nd upper/middle level open aired. It’d be a pretty cool open feel
I got the same guitar. Freaking love the tone. Now if only I could play it good….
