I've seen a lot of California theme park vloggers going to Orlando. I like that you went on a different route and went to Hawaii, although it's still Disney but different.
We want to go to WDW but we thought we’ll wait until the holiday crowds die down. Hawaii allows us to be (mostly) off on our own having our own adventures.

You guys should use packing cubes to help organize and when you are in your hotel room… unpacking is easy to just take your cubes of loathes into those draws.. and sanitize… like a barrier from the draw… it also give you more space in the suite case..
funny in Feb. we are flying from El Paso to LAX or Long Beach to catch a cruise to Hawaii 4 stops 12 hrs. at each island and it cost the 2 of us $700 I bought the tickets during pandemic, with insurance the cruise included $200 on board credit drinks during the 15 day cruise and $200 for casino play. I am getting excited for this trip
Nice video as usual. A tip to calm travel anxiety - if you've got your valet, phone, tickets and passport then you're fine. Everything else you can always buy at the destination. No need to be worried if you've missed to pack something. Cheers!
The singer playing the piano is Robert Cazimero along with his brother they used to be in a group back in the day called the Sunday Manoa if you love traditional Hawaiian music you would love their songs. The singer playing guitar in the white is Henry Kapono he is also a well known singer in Hawaii. So glad you and Peter got to visit and have an adventure in Hawaiʻi. It's never too late to come back and be a resident. 😉
We are leaving to Oahu in two weeks and started watching your Hawaii vlogs. We have been before and have received a few Covid tests, but when I watched you get your negative results I got teary. That is my biggest stress!! We have been vaccinated and we are so careful, but still stressed about it. I am loving your videos and so glad you had a great time!!

While on the plane, the Hawaiian musician you saw on the piano is the famous Robert Cazimero (who used to perform with his late brother Roland and they were called the Brothers Cazimero). The guitarist on the beach in the next scene is Henry Kapono (famous 1/2 of the duo Cecilio and Kapono). They were big on the West Coast, Hawaii and all of the Pacific Basin !

Its so fun seeing you guys on our island... its kinda weird seeing your videos and actually knowing exactly where in the airport area for once! We had some family friends coming home for the holidays from the mainland that had issues of their test taking long to be approved on the travelers website so its a "hairy" process for locals as well as tourists to get in and out of the islands. Thank you guys for doing the research and including that information for viewers considering visiting here.
We went for 5 days last September to Aulani. For everything for the two of us was 3500. I’m saying around 7200 for you guys depending on what and where you went such as a Spa at Aulani. Dole Plantation food etc. either way it’s worth a shot! But can’t wait for your next video!! 🤙🏼 Shaka!!

I've spent some time on the islands as my parents brought me there quite a few times as I was growing up and I in turn did that for my children until their adulthoods. If you enjoy the traditional/commercial Hawaiian vibe (I do), I already suggested the Polynesian Culture Center (I know you plan to got there), but you may also want to consider a Hawaiian cruise as it has the same vibe magnified. Also, you stop at each main island so you can try them all out. You already know O'ahu (Urban), Kauai (Tropical Rain Forest), Maui (beaches), Hawaii (Big Island - volcanic and tropical, depending on your stop of Hilo or Kona). One special thing on the cruise is you when you pass near Kilauea volcano at night, there is a chance you can see lava flow into the ocean. Red glow and the hiss of the lava hitting the water... it's a unique experience.

Different island, the volcano is over 200 miles away from oahu. Besides, the flow is contained within the crater. The Kilauea volcano isn't like mount st. Helen's, or Mt. Fiji that explode.

I recently flew out of Newark to go to WDW and I was more nervous on my flight than the entirety of my stay at WDW. I flew United and they pack their plane! There was no empty middle row and I know that both my flights (going and coming) were full, which just boggled my mind. Once on the plane I made sure my mask had an additional filter in it and I was also wearing a face shield, which may have been a bit much, but I felt safer for it.
I'd love to see a video on how it should cost for you guys to be in Hawaii for 10 days. My wife and I are planning a trip sometime soon and would love to see that information.

I’m thinking close to $3,000 between the car, room, parking at airport and plane tickets Covid test was $90 per person so that’s $180. I would say you guys spent about 5,000 to 5,500 for the trip. Either way Hawaii is awesome I lived in Lahaina in Maui it’s so beautiful. We were actually supposed to go at the beginning of the year but we are going to wait now.
Can’t wait to see it all!!! Price hmm I’d say if it’s ≈$170 a night then for rooms 2040 Tickets for plane maybe 200 each so 400 Parking lot 12/day=120 At least maybe 100 total on food per day so 1000 Car rental maybe 30/day so 300 I don’t know if you can count souvenirs because we might not see them all 😂 so maybe 500 on that $4360-$5000 total
hahah I've had the same feelings when getting back a negative COVID test when I had to get tested for a trip also. It's a ton of anxiety because ya you are right you never know you can be a carrier but be a-symptomatic, so trust me we all do that happy dance when it comes back negative! Ughh but you are guys are lucky how they swab you in California. In Canada you have to have a nurse do it and I swear they shove that SWAB right up to your brain!! It's def not a slight tickle! haha

I am so glad you guys went ahead and did this trip. We had one planned as well for the first week in Decemeber but were too worried we would not get our test back in time. Oh well we will just have to replan it all for later.

I'm guessing it's around $3.8k considering flights alone are like around $500 depending on how good the deals are right now plus 2 weeks in a resort tier hotel would definitely be pricy, but if they offered discounts, maybe around $2.5k plus food & other expenses would be about $500 - $700 food per week for two people.

I don’t know if you can count souvenirs because we might not see them all 😂 so maybe 500 on that

hahah I've had the same feelings when getting back a negative COVID test when I had to get tested for a trip also. It's a ton of anxiety because ya you are right you never know you can be a carrier but be a-symptomatic, so trust me we all do that happy dance when it comes back negative! Ughh but you are guys are lucky how they swab you in California. In Canada you have to have a nurse do it and I swear they shove that SWAB right up to your brain!! It's def not a slight tickle! haha

I have to say that after Peter’s test was negative, Kitra’s was 99.9% going to be negative too. I didn’t comment before, but I will now...I absolutely love all of you geeky art! If you do a vlog tour of your house I would beak it up into smaller bits so that we can really take in all of your collections. Mele Kilikimaka!

I am so glad you guys went ahead and did this trip. We had one planned as well for the first week in Decemeber but were too worried we would not get our test back in time. Oh well we will just have to replan it all for later.

I'm guessing it's around $3.8k considering flights alone are like around $500 depending on how good the deals are right now plus 2 weeks in a resort tier hotel would definitely be pricy, but if they offered discounts, maybe around $2.5k plus food & other expenses would be about $500 - $700 food per week for two people.
I’m thinking maybe $7,000 in total including food. Can’t wait to see more! I want to go to Aulani to get Duffy merch.
