I just rode E.T. Adventure this past Monday, January 6, 2025 and I was hit with way more nostalgia than I expected. The only other time I rode it was when I was a kid, about 30-35 years ago. I love the practical special effects and John Williams music. The ride is still magical to me, and now charming as well.
This ride is an absolute masterpiece. The last time I was at Universal, it had a 35 minute wait, but because the queue line is so elaborately themed, I didn't mind the long wait one bit!
There’s a lot that hasn’t worked in years. I was surprised to see botanicus working. Unless he works random days I haven’t seen him in the que in at least 5 years
Nah, no way. This ride is here to stay. Lol. Steven Spielberg said he’ll pull all of his properties and their rights if anything happens to the ride. Seeing how they just put in a new Jurassic ride… it’ll be a long time. 🤣 No need to worry!

When I heard E.T. say my name for the first time in 91', I just thought that was the coolest thing ever! Big deal for a 5 year old.
Yeah, that is one of the coolest aspects of the ride. I had the exact experience. SO cool for a kid.
