Grip is for beginners he’s been skating for a couple of years so he doesn’t need the help anymore cause grip tape is technically cheating making your tricks not count.

Im skating a 8" I'm 31 yo trying to get back into it (big up to all the oldies) but recently shattered my ankle trying to heel flip 😢 once its healed im thinking, proper footwear, some ankle protection to help prevent rolls, and maybe a bigger deck, im 6'2 and size 11 feet, so guessing id benefit from maybe a 8.5 deck? Whats your thoughts dude 😊

I got size 12 feet and ride a 7.75-8.0. It’s all about preference honestly
