@@TangySapling164if you don’t know about it already, I highly suggest Titanfall 2. It’s the predecessor to Apex legends and has practically the same movement but with double jump. It even has some of the Legend’s abilities in it too. (Story wise, they’re both in the same universe as well.)
I don't blame you for leaving Apex honestly, Apex has become so dull and boring (at least for me). I stopped playing Apex about 2 months ago and I've had so much more fun playing single player games, or smaller co-op games with close friends. I hope whatever you choose to do with your channel and career works out, and I hope you find that passion for content creation again. Your real fans will always be there no matter what. What games have you been playing? My friends and I really want to switch too. Everything about Apex seems so much fun until I log in and play it myself... then I'm reminded of why I wanna quit. The battle pass changes are the final straw, we are just tired of putting in hours into it and stressing ourselves out.

And let's make his ult super op at first, but use it as a lever to phase him in and out of meta, and since he has a movement ability that pairs well with his passive, like octane, he will always be played even if his ult sucks.'

For those of us that have been around since the beginning, there was already YEARS of dealing with "piled on" garbage. I was a daily player from S3-S18. I could see the writing on the wall over a year ago when I left. My only surprise is that it took this long for the game to implode. I'm old enough to remember when MW2 died. Towards the end, every, and I do mean EVERY LOBBY was nothing but people using cheats, exploiting, or boosting. Sound familiar?😂

I don't think anyone will blame you for quitting a foggy dead-end road. It's better to bite the bullet and keep working hard on something that is profitable. I think you should switch this channel to Warframe rather than starting all over again with a small channel. Good luck.

Feel you Guapee. Around when rev reborn’s abilities were announced, I left a random tik tok comment saying that you were about to pop off. Never would I think that rev would become so overused. I played rev when he released and while yes, he was horrible, it was so fun trying to overcome the odds as one of the hardest characters to play.

I don't like playing Apex but love watching you. I don't blame you for leaving. Just change things up more. Play other games. I feel the same about the game as him just burned out, and it's degrading in quality feels like need to play instead of fun, haven't played in 3 weeks more fun on other games (have been playing from day one and grinding since day one having all badges, now i don't care about it anymore)

thank you guapee for all you've done, you converted me to apex, to become a rev main even before the reborn, and thus i put hundreds of hours into that game but things started turning bad I think since the final fantasy crossover and now pretty much everyone is quitting the game due to EA's decision making, when you see what from software has done for 40$ and now you see the double battle pass you can really see the greed in this studio, and sadly this impacted the whole game making it boring. I left apex a few months because it is not fun anymore and I share your feelings on rev as what could have been the best update for him sort of killed him. anyways thank you guapeeyou are one of the best content creators and I might follow you to warframe one day who knows
As someone who’s played this game for the past 5 years religiously I feel like it’s nothing to do with the quality of content. I just feel it’s to do with people enjoying play apex but watching it for me has been boring for the past 2 years as it doesn’t feel as fresh as it used to. Apex is still very fun to play competitively but from a viewer standpoint I feel burnt out on just watching apex. And this has nothing to do with the quality as people like your self have made many good videos I just think this game is coming to its end from the viewers standpoint.
Makes me so sad seeing all the other content creators drop off. But it’s completely understandable, especially if it’s a full-time job. I am lucky that I am just doing it for fun and have a full-time corporate career instead. Good luck on the warframe videos. You are extremely talented and I have no doubts you can make it happen.
Apex has gone through some tuff times with me, it’s practically seen me go through stuff like one of my best friends, I’ve always had a heart for apex, it was the first battle royals I ever picked up and got into before the other and it’s definitely stayed the best one for me, from its characters and it’s story I love this game but Even I have to admit there’s a lack of motivation to put myself in apex to where it’s becoming a thing I play just to be sure it doesn’t need to update or when I wanna play with a friend for this one time. Apex is being crippled by the hand that feeds it and it’s really showing more than usual and even I couldn’t ignore even if I haven’t played it in weeks. We all will eventually leave this game but EA really decides when we do because if we still apex itself to get up and walk but it Can’t because it’s too weak, then that’s simply EA burden to be ashamed off.

ever since the last patch my game has literally been nonstop dropping frames, lagging out of its mind and hard freezing. it took me ages just to find a fix for my game freezing ON THE LOBBY SCREEN. sure, i have a lower end pc, but if im running the game at 60 fps no lag for years only for one patch that didnt even add that much to the game to make it consistently run like ass then respawn must've fucked up big time. this plus all the other bad shit they're doing (e.g. battle pass update) is going to kill this game fast. ive already quit the game for valorant until they fix whatever is causing these insane performance issues.

I get it man - I'm a week 1 player and my passion died for this game a good 2-3 years ago. I'd take a break, come back, take a longer break, come back, etc. I realised I was fed up when I clutched a 1v3 and heard footsteps behind me and just sighed. That should've been a moment to get hyped and tell me mates I was carrying them or something but... Nah. Like you say, the passion is gone. I even met a friend that showed potential and it reignited my love for the game. We played ranked as a duo all the way to Masters even though they were new and... Bored again. On top of being bored there's cheaters too, so there's that.
You and Fade have been some of my favourite apex youtubers and streamers even tho i don't play or enjoy apex legends, I just find your content to be enjoyable and just chill, so now youre moving content creation to a game I actually play and have a ridiculous amount of hours in; I will 100% subscribe and support your new channel.
Well much respect man for being honest. What's funny is I was huge into warframe, haven't played it since November though. I've got almost 10,000 hours into that game and an insanely decorated orbiter. I got burnt out from farming decorations for years. I haven't even played apex in over a month now. I know I'm not a content creator but I haven't had any motivation lately to play any kind of video games. I'll always be a gamer at heart though, no matter how long of a break I take
I used to get a lot of your videos in my feed too, I never really watched them if I’m being honest but I always appreciated someone out there showing people how it was done on Revenant. You pretty much said it all in your video, that’s what made it interesting. Where other streamers and content creators needed crunches like, literally just playing Horizon or some other meta legend that makes the game easy. You consistently played the legend who was literally argued to be the worst. And wrecked people on him. And I had heard the stories. So bottomline, I really hope it goes well man, seriously . It’s hard to want to be a content creator for video games when it feels like the gaming industry is just getting worse and worse by the day in some ways. So keep up your grind. You’ve put in the work already so I pray for you it pays off. It’s not over till you say it’s over.

As I'm watching your vid I'm just... scrolling around with Apex in the background, not sure if I want to play another match or not. That strange feeling where I can't tell if I'm truly having fun and truly want to progress, or rather it's the lack of any other solid multiplayer FPS not infested with cheaters that holds me back. It's annoying as f*ck because the core of the game is great. It's dynamic, it has a lot of room for improvement and being better than other players in many different ways, etc. It's just such a waste.
Every game gets kinda boring if you just milk it out. When NFS World was a thing i just played it like 14h per day on a professional level and even got a #1 WR on HWY99 & State but one day i just stopped.. but it was also due to the fact many of my friends moved to some other game and i had no excitement anymore when loggin in... I watched you for a long time, for two years I watched your videos once a month, then I, like you, at one point realized that the game was not developing in any way and simply did not give me fun and excitement, but simply left me in a cycle of the same thing same, and at one point I just uninstalled apex, and downloaded fortnite (lol), and I enjoy this game, I also enjoy play single player games. It's really sad that Apex, one of the games brought the titan fall community back together, people spending hours and hours mastering the movement, there is no other game like it. But with the greed of EA and them not doing anything to help the game, it also pushed me to really play the game less and less. S22 with the actual money for the battle pass reallt is the nail in the coffin for me. Sad to see creators leave, but without viewers its understanderable.
I don't enjoy the game as much as I used to, but I try to make the best out of it. Grinding ranked and keeping a strong mental that is focused towards improvement. Might not be the best advice for everyone, but it helps me in enjoying the game to a certain extent.

I understand why you want to leave, aside from the content creation stuff personally, it's pretty much what i was feeling too. It's admirable that you're willing to give it one more season to see if things work out and you deserve nothing more than for it to do so. I mean you took an otherwise looked over and unpopular character and managed to leave an impression on the game and make a living from it, it's no easy feat and deserves merit. One thing I will also say is even though I haven't watched every video you've put out but when I have I always enjoyed your content from the beginning dude and I do truely wish it works out for you as the stuff you do has made a solid impression on me from your unique identity in the game and community. My girlfriend got me into Apex a little over a year ago, and I thought it was only gonna get better...but season after season It's really depressing to see a game that has massive potential just get fucked like the way it has. I really enjoyed this game for the little amount of time I've been playing it.

They have to come up with the new plot, which is that after a whole conflict with Loba and Revenants defeat, Revenant is succeeding and wants to kill Loba, but suddenly Revenant previous form (old simiulacrum) comes on the stage and telling him to stay away from that girl, and with the help of Loba, he starts a war with the current Revenant, and in the end, Loba and the old Revenant succeed, and he tells Loba that I hurt you, but this was the least help I could do, now finish me off, and then Loba goes to Source The code is firing, THE END, Old Revenant got redemption, Loba took revenge, the new Revenant was destroyed (I don't know even know what his point), with this story, they can bring the same Revenant as before for gameplay, but not replace the reborn Revenant separately.
The reason why I stopped to play apex actively is because it is impossible to chill in this game. You either die from some sweaty guy or from cheaters, I am a good player myself, yet this is annoying and hard to have fun
I miss season 3… I miss dropping into Kings Canyon after it was destroyed and picking up the LStar for the first time. I miss having fun. This is the best game ever made, destroyed by greed.

Low-key could also be your age setting in. Maturing as a person, you're able to perceive the reality of the situation (which younger minds are clouded to) hence the passion dying. Also could be the actual career, gaming exploded and streaming. Maybe it's becoming overly saturated and harder to stand above the rest. Advice towards income would be to lean towards games that are within the target audience interest which for gaming would be the younger age range (this provides a number of challenges due to the extremely short attention span, Shorts/TikTok being the culprit here.) I lost my passion for apex a year ago. The monetization and content had fallen off so bad, its been a slow decline. Rubbish meta changes and next to no content. That final fantasy event was the most disgusting event of all the time monetization wise and people actually supported it and where did that bring us? Now we have these rubbish univeral heirlooms and exotic shards and a new battlepass. All of this and the game is boring to play as well 🤢
Choosing Apex Legends for content creation is one of the most hard competition in the internet, easily because it has so many players (used to at least) but not so many viewers (compared to other games), so imagine lacking some stuff that entertain ppl (which is so normal as we all are humans and none of us are perfect) this will kill the channel of course, i agree with everything you said in the video, I kinda saw it coming and this won't be just you tbh, but when it comes to the part of Revenant being everywhere, this is why i always said the reborn is the worse thing that happened to this Legend and i'm a Rev main, ppl hates his totem and some even hated his Q, which makes the pick rate so low, who's the guy that still used to make him look amazing? Guapee! Now everyone loves the Q and the Ultimate so it's being choose by everyone sadly and it lost the "Unique" part of it. i've got 45k kills on apex, been playing since s0. the only reason i still play a few hours a week is because of the friends i played that game with for half a decade. i realized a year or so ago that that was the case, which sucks. I remember when matches would get my heart to pound lol

Literally in the same boat, used to be a heavy kill grinder and got up to 60k on ash, now i dont care about grinding leaderboards or kill grinding at all because the love and passion is gone

When I first watched Guapee's videos, I was still a newbie. At that time, he had just killed 30,000 with his Undying hero, and I didn't know that the game could be played this way until I saw his amazing Undying moves. I didn't know that the universally regarded "trash" hero could be played so strongly. After that, I bought my first hero, Undying, and my first heirloom item, a scythe. Since then, I have watched every video Guapee has released. Because of Guapee, I mostly play Undying in either casual or ranked matches. I have almost 4,000 kills with Undying now, but Apex is becoming increasingly declining. Thank you, Guapee, I really learned a lot, and I think I'll stop playing soon after you decide to leave the Apex community.

What games have you been playing? My friends and I really want to switch too. Everything about Apex seems so much fun until I log in and play it myself... then I'm reminded of why I wanna quit. The battle pass changes are the final straw, we are just tired of putting in hours into it and stressing ourselves out.

Some days I miss the old Rev. Throwing meatballs, having one of the most slept on passives, an ult that was impossible to balence. It was chaotic yet fun

And let's make his ult super op at first, but use it as a lever to phase him in and out of meta, and since he has a movement ability that pairs well with his passive, like octane, he will always be played even if his ult sucks.'
Bro Rev was my main when he had his old kit, nothing was more rewarding then silencing a wraith, Path or Valkyrie from getting away 😂, he became such a brain rot legend.

Feel you Guapee. Around when rev reborn’s abilities were announced, I left a random tik tok comment saying that you were about to pop off. Never would I think that rev would become so overused. I played rev when he released and while yes, he was horrible, it was so fun trying to overcome the odds as one of the hardest characters to play.

thank you guapee for all you've done, you converted me to apex, to become a rev main even before the reborn, and thus i put hundreds of hours into that game but things started turning bad I think since the final fantasy crossover and now pretty much everyone is quitting the game due to EA's decision making, when you see what from software has done for 40$ and now you see the double battle pass you can really see the greed in this studio, and sadly this impacted the whole game making it boring. I left apex a few months because it is not fun anymore and I share your feelings on rev as what could have been the best update for him sort of killed him. anyways thank you guapeeyou are one of the best content creators and I might follow you to warframe one day who knows
As someone who’s played this game for the past 5 years religiously I feel like it’s nothing to do with the quality of content. I just feel it’s to do with people enjoying play apex but watching it for me has been boring for the past 2 years as it doesn’t feel as fresh as it used to. Apex is still very fun to play competitively but from a viewer standpoint I feel burnt out on just watching apex. And this has nothing to do with the quality as people like your self have made many good videos I just think this game is coming to its end from the viewers standpoint.
Makes me so sad seeing all the other content creators drop off. But it’s completely understandable, especially if it’s a full-time job. I am lucky that I am just doing it for fun and have a full-time corporate career instead. Good luck on the warframe videos. You are extremely talented and I have no doubts you can make it happen.
Apex has gone through some tuff times with me, it’s practically seen me go through stuff like one of my best friends, I’ve always had a heart for apex, it was the first battle royals I ever picked up and got into before the other and it’s definitely stayed the best one for me, from its characters and it’s story I love this game but Even I have to admit there’s a lack of motivation to put myself in apex to where it’s becoming a thing I play just to be sure it doesn’t need to update or when I wanna play with a friend for this one time. Apex is being crippled by the hand that feeds it and it’s really showing more than usual and even I couldn’t ignore even if I haven’t played it in weeks. We all will eventually leave this game but EA really decides when we do because if we still apex itself to get up and walk but it Can’t because it’s too weak, then that’s simply EA burden to be ashamed off.

ever since the last patch my game has literally been nonstop dropping frames, lagging out of its mind and hard freezing. it took me ages just to find a fix for my game freezing ON THE LOBBY SCREEN. sure, i have a lower end pc, but if im running the game at 60 fps no lag for years only for one patch that didnt even add that much to the game to make it consistently run like ass then respawn must've fucked up big time.
this plus all the other bad shit they're doing (e.g. battle pass update) is going to kill this game fast. ive already quit the game for valorant until they fix whatever is causing these insane performance issues.

I get it man - I'm a week 1 player and my passion died for this game a good 2-3 years ago. I'd take a break, come back, take a longer break, come back, etc. I realised I was fed up when I clutched a 1v3 and heard footsteps behind me and just sighed. That should've been a moment to get hyped and tell me mates I was carrying them or something but... Nah. Like you say, the passion is gone.
I even met a friend that showed potential and it reignited my love for the game. We played ranked as a duo all the way to Masters even though they were new and... Bored again.
On top of being bored there's cheaters too, so there's that.

Well much respect man for being honest. What's funny is I was huge into warframe, haven't played it since November though. I've got almost 10,000 hours into that game and an insanely decorated orbiter. I got burnt out from farming decorations for years. I haven't even played apex in over a month now. I know I'm not a content creator but I haven't had any motivation lately to play any kind of video games. I'll always be a gamer at heart though, no matter how long of a break I take
I used to get a lot of your videos in my feed too, I never really watched them if I’m being honest but I always appreciated someone out there showing people how it was done on Revenant. You pretty much said it all in your video, that’s what made it interesting. Where other streamers and content creators needed crunches like, literally just playing Horizon or some other meta legend that makes the game easy. You consistently played the legend who was literally argued to be the worst. And wrecked people on him. And I had heard the stories. So bottomline, I really hope it goes well man, seriously . It’s hard to want to be a content creator for video games when it feels like the gaming industry is just getting worse and worse by the day in some ways. So keep up your grind. You’ve put in the work already so I pray for you it pays off. It’s not over till you say it’s over.

As I'm watching your vid I'm just... scrolling around with Apex in the background, not sure if I want to play another match or not. That strange feeling where I can't tell if I'm truly having fun and truly want to progress, or rather it's the lack of any other solid multiplayer FPS not infested with cheaters that holds me back. It's annoying as f*ck because the core of the game is great. It's dynamic, it has a lot of room for improvement and being better than other players in many different ways, etc. It's just such a waste.
Every game gets kinda boring if you just milk it out. When NFS World was a thing i just played it like 14h per day on a professional level and even got a #1 WR on HWY99 & State but one day i just stopped.. but it was also due to the fact many of my friends moved to some other game and i had no excitement anymore when loggin in...

I watched you for a long time, for two years I watched your videos once a month, then I, like you, at one point realized that the game was not developing in any way and simply did not give me fun and excitement, but simply left me in a cycle of the same thing same, and at one point I just uninstalled apex, and downloaded fortnite (lol), and I enjoy this game, I also enjoy play single player games.

It's really sad that Apex, one of the games brought the titan fall community back together, people spending hours and hours mastering the movement, there is no other game like it. But with the greed of EA and them not doing anything to help the game, it also pushed me to really play the game less and less. S22 with the actual money for the battle pass reallt is the nail in the coffin for me. Sad to see creators leave, but without viewers its understanderable.
I don't enjoy the game as much as I used to, but I try to make the best out of it.
Grinding ranked and keeping a strong mental that is focused towards improvement.
Might not be the best advice for everyone, but it helps me in enjoying the game to a certain extent.

My girlfriend got me into Apex a little over a year ago, and I thought it was only gonna get better...but season after season It's really depressing to see a game that has massive potential just get fucked like the way it has. I really enjoyed this game for the little amount of time I've been playing it.

They have to come up with the new plot, which is that after a whole conflict with Loba and Revenants defeat, Revenant is succeeding and wants to kill Loba, but suddenly Revenant previous form (old simiulacrum) comes on the stage and telling him to stay away from that girl, and with the help of Loba, he starts a war with the current Revenant, and in the end, Loba and the old Revenant succeed, and he tells Loba that I hurt you, but this was the least help I could do, now finish me off, and then Loba goes to Source The code is firing, THE END, Old Revenant got redemption, Loba took revenge, the new Revenant was destroyed (I don't know even know what his point), with this story, they can bring the same Revenant as before for gameplay, but not replace the reborn Revenant separately.

Low-key could also be your age setting in. Maturing as a person, you're able to perceive the reality of the situation (which younger minds are clouded to) hence the passion dying.
Also could be the actual career, gaming exploded and streaming. Maybe it's becoming overly saturated and harder to stand above the rest.
Advice towards income would be to lean towards games that are within the target audience interest which for gaming would be the younger age range (this provides a number of challenges due to the extremely short attention span, Shorts/TikTok being the culprit here.)

EA/Respawn have (imo) spent the past 5yrs ruining what was, the best Team-Based-FPS-BR on the market through greed and never once focussing their resources on FIXING the game's core issues.
I lost my passion for apex a year ago. The monetization and content had fallen off so bad, its been a slow decline. Rubbish meta changes and next to no content. That final fantasy event was the most disgusting event of all the time monetization wise and people actually supported it and where did that bring us? Now we have these rubbish univeral heirlooms and exotic shards and a new battlepass. All of this and the game is boring to play as well 🤢
Choosing Apex Legends for content creation is one of the most hard competition in the internet, easily because it has so many players (used to at least) but not so many viewers (compared to other games), so imagine lacking some stuff that entertain ppl (which is so normal as we all are humans and none of us are perfect) this will kill the channel of course, i agree with everything you said in the video, I kinda saw it coming and this won't be just you tbh, but when it comes to the part of Revenant being everywhere, this is why i always said the reborn is the worse thing that happened to this Legend and i'm a Rev main, ppl hates his totem and some even hated his Q, which makes the pick rate so low, who's the guy that still used to make him look amazing? I blame all the streamers that supported the bull$hit that's been going by the devs of this game, I do bad things to you and you don't stop me, automatically i'll do them again! that's life and this is what they're doing.
I wish you good luck in any game you choose, after all streaming has two paths, either you become a pro in a game, or you got the character that makes you entertainer.

i've got 45k kills on apex, been playing since s0. the only reason i still play a few hours a week is because of the friends i played that game with for half a decade. i realized a year or so ago that that was the case, which sucks. I remember when matches would get my heart to pound lol
I hope this game doesn’t die I get every body is always saying they hate the game but deep down there still is the love for the game I don’t know what game I would main if this game dies.

Literally in the same boat, used to be a heavy kill grinder and got up to 60k on ash, now i dont care about grinding leaderboards or kill grinding at all because the love and passion is gone
big respect to guapee for making a video addressing possible leave from apex instead of just disappearing. and totally understandable. the game is at its lowest numbers, doesn’t listen to the community, is mostly in it for the money, and just overall ruining the game overall.
When I first watched Guapee's videos, I was still a newbie. At that time, he had just killed 30,000 with his Undying hero, and I didn't know that the game could be played this way until I saw his amazing Undying moves. I didn't know that the universally regarded "trash" hero could be played so strongly. After that, I bought my first hero, Undying, and my first heirloom item, a scythe. Since then, I have watched every video Guapee has released. Because of Guapee, I mostly play Undying in either casual or ranked matches. I have almost 4,000 kills with Undying now, but Apex is becoming increasingly declining. Thank you, Guapee, I really learned a lot, and I think I'll stop playing soon after you decide to leave the Apex community.
