I just checked this app. Pretty good. Definitely does lower the lag (reduced mine from 160-180 down to 135-155) but it's not free at all. There's a ONE DAY free trial lol. Not sure it's worth the 10$ a month. It definitely works though

The fact that all countries havent followed suit on the illegalization of gambling in games is wild, it would benefit literally everybody but the 1%
That's the thing, a lot of governments only recently started to acknowledge videogames in general, despite them being probably the third most popular pillar of entertainment industry.
Here in Russia they still treat it as "children-oriented" despite the majority of gamers being over 20.
That's why there are so few game-related laws, they don't consider it a serious business.

@@The-Anti exactly, and since the corona pandemic gaming became a lot more common due to isolation and other factors. However, most lawmakers and administrative figures are not gamers and have no clue about it being such a big industry.
All that will happen is that they'll do stuff like they did with Belgium, ramp up the price tags on EVERYTHING and then lock the MAIN item behind buying all the other ones

I live in Belgium, been playing since day 1, every battle pass, own 14 heirlooms, able to vpn outside belgium to buy pcks or skins I usually cant, thousands of crafting metals which give me free or 40$ heirlooms in collection events if I save up, it's really great here
I admit that here in Belgium, we have it good (for apex). It's just annoying to have to use a VPN just to buy a skin in the shop because the game includes packs in it.

Gearup can improve some latency issues appropriately, but it can't do anything about very poor broadband
What's funny is I got the Caustic skin right from the first pack since I still got 500+ left without expecting much
They don't sell bundles like the loba edition bundle without the packs because the packs are used as a padding mechanism to bypass laws in countries like Australia regarding showing a discounted price on items that cannot be bought seperately. basically the apex packs are added in just so the actual value matches the advertised value.
Fun fact, it's not impossible for console players, if you have a vpn on your phone then use a mobile hotspot you can basically use a vpn on console.

i love the fact that so many people use the belgium glitch to get crafting materials when me and my friends used it to get the normal battle pass because we thought it was just better to get the garuanteed legendary skin each season instead of 800 crafting materials wich isnt even enough to buy one legendary

It would be one thing if all of the items were the same rarity, but when half or of the items are epic tier banners, stickers, and sprays that no one will ever use, it makes it significantly harder to justify making the choice to buy an event.
the worst thing about the shadow society event for me was that i didnt check twitter that day so i didnt know apex destroyed the game (again) and my items would be taken straight from my account, guess i didnt want the car skin anyway

to any wondering why Gachas arent banned is because unlike lootboxes theres a pity system to deny your bill from getting to high at a certain point. Some may you lose something like a 50/50 before being fully garunteed to get what you want but you are garunteed something of similar rarity and the next time you reach that pity it will br exactly what you want

I actually lucked out and got the Caustic skin in my first pack. I wanted the death standing emote too, but figured I'd just stick with the one pack and be done with it.

7:44 It's not true, because as for me, I'm on console (Xbox) and I live in Belgium. Craft materials are fine, but when there are really cool skins in the shop with packs inside, I have to use a VPN by modifying the DNS of my Xbox with the VPN I have to be able to buy the skin! So, it is possible to use a VPN for consoles, at least for Xbox. For PlayStation, I don't know about that. :)

There needs to be an worldwide law to ban companies from adding gambling mechanics through things like packs and also force them to make *EVERY* item they put in games to be buyable for an resonable amount of money.
(maximum 18$ for cosmetics and maximum 100$ for everything else like 30 day boosters)

The fact anyone buys skins priced as much as any other AAA game is reduculous. yall could probably spend just as much time enjoying the other games without the bad servers, lag, ping, game breaking abilities and hackers ruining the game just for some pixles. the money doesnt get used for anything useful just more expensive events. i havent felt the same since the final fantasy event. i was a huge fan but i cant with it anymore.
i love the booster but i already used it before and you only get 1 day free which is bs, there should be a free plan where you just have to watch an ad before connecting or something

Live in belgium, sometimes in rare cases the law is a win, but it mostly is not. Gotta use a vpn in alot of games to be able to get cosmetics which is a pain to do’

Hey, I'm Belgian, so just to clarify, when you were using the bug to get the Belgian pass, I was using my account in France to get the events pack during the events.
And now that we can't do that anymore, my best buddy sends me the packs as a gift.
i bought one apex pack the first one for the new event for 100mcoins and got the loba skin, which is the one i was gambling for anyway...... however i wont be so lucky all the time and rlly hope they wont continue with the trend to not make the skins purchasable
I miss when everything in games was unlockable through at the very least grinding, and a big micro transaction was like 10 bucks😓
