Hi,very good project.Yesterday i try and did make similar,just i have used two bc547b transistors,and in a lack of 1,5 kohms,i used one of 1kohm+470ohm,and the solar panel is from bright light lamp(not sure will it be enough to recharge,but we will see).The ic's you used are npn,as what i used too,just the pinout is different.Thank you for this one. :)

Here You used 18650 batteries ,but there is no controlling over charging , its not good right ? what if over charge and battery is exploded ?
I might be wrong but I would use a tp4056 lithium battery charger to avoid overcharging

I have made it...but it's works only once...once battery get discharge it will get never charged again with solar plate...I have tried it..

Love your circuit, so much that I'm trying to reverse engineer your circuit to fit my application. I have a 9v @ 10mA (Skylink ID-318) wireless remote motion detector that I would like to apply a 12-14v @ 34mA solar panel to charge a 9v 300mAh NiMH battery during the day and operate the motion detector at night to wirelessly turn on a flood light. I'm struggling with components to substitute. Was going to use 2N3904 NPN transistors, 1N914 Diode, and 100uf capacitor. I have it set up on a breadboard, but before I apply power, wanted to get an opinion back. Thanks

Project worki g nice well I connected the batteries from the 3.7 volt phone as if charging but only for a moment about 30 minutes of light, what could be the reason? What v batteries you recommend that it shines longer. I connected under the solar panel 6v / 1w.

In this video i am using 5 volt solar panel, this circuit also work on 12 volt dc.Led light depend on your backup battery and solar panel.
