Eri has 1. A point in the story. She is the granddaughter of Chisaki’s boss and he wants to use her ability to change the world and erase quirks. 2. She he a personality and character arc. She is afraid of running away because when she tries to fight back, somebody dies, so she needed someone to show her it was okay to live freely without that fear. How is she garbage tier? Cause she’s a kid? She’s not a badass hero? Eri is literally the catalyst for this entire arc and acts exactly how a scared little girl would act.

The only reason Chisaki wasn't vaporized is because of Eri's quirk. Deku literally punched _through_ him.
