I was just smiling from start to end. The people in Bangladesh are super friendly and accommodating. I find it really sweet when they actually put each dish on their visitor's plate. It used to be a common gesture in the Philippines, particularly in our province, but it is slowly fading (based on my personal experience only). Anyway, the food seem super rich and flavorful! I hope to find restaurants here that serves those kinds of food! ❤️
Honestly I wouldn't mind if everyone finished the plate then used fingers to gets the last bits! Tells me my food rocks! The person who prepared the food must get a warm fuzzy feeling everytime!

You must be Bengali Indian from West bengal, that's why you like Bangladesh cuisine more, Bangladesh cuisine is very homogeneous whereas india and pakistan are very diverse in terms of cuisine, people and languages
I have a bengali friend/co worker. Anytime he invites me over he lays out the table in a similar fashion. With many different types of dishes and white rice. Bengalis are very friendly.

It’s in the blood of Bangladeshi wives..if you come to my home my mother would do the same.they tend to give their 100%effort in cooking to please the guests..
Coming from a person who’s mixed with Bengali and African American , I’m so happy to see this video. I still have family over there in Bangladesh and hoping I get to see them soon 🥺
I could see the cook at the end of the vid. He was watching mark eat and when he tried a dish and smiled bcuz of how good it was it made the cook smile. Must be very special for them to get their food recognized

Mark, you truly expressed your appreciation of the Bangladeshi food. Your host is very gracious to show you all the mouth-watering street food treats in his neighbourhood. The food look absolutely delicious!
If youre from London then the indian food youv been eating at the restaurants aren't indian..they're all bengali owned so you've tried it..Next time you go ask for some authentic bengali dishes and theyl make it for you. Bengali home food is a trillion times tastier than the textbook "indian" stuff you have on the menu.

Stay long, stay well and enjoy the food and trip. Can't wait for the next episode..
Super interesting first home cooked meal. 18 Dishes! What a local feast. And that Hilsa banquet outside Dhaka looked amazing. What a unique food adventure. It looked like a happy one.
Using a simple kitchen and basic cooking tools the chef turns out an amazing feast. You don’t need fancy cooking equipment to be great … just skill and love of food.
I had a great time in Dhaka in 2008. The people were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. During that time it was hard to find a guesthouse that would let foreigners sleep there. So i had to stay at a more fancy Hotel. The streetfood was amazing and luckily i gained an iron belly in India before my visit 😄
My mouth kept watering the whole time while I watched this video! I've been watching Mark's channel for years now but this series will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Mark for showing me such beautiful glimpses of the country where my paternal grandparents were born. They were very young when they came to India with their families during the Partition and never had an opportunity to go back for a visit. I've never been to Bangladesh myself but I've heard so much about it from them. I wish they were still alive so I could show them this video. It was amazing to see the familiar food, the similar eating habits and the best part was being able to understand both languages that were spoken in this video. Many thanks to the hosts as well for giving Mark such a warm welcome..lots of love from an Indian machhe bhaate bangali.. 😀😀
Hey Mark!!! You have no idea what inspiration you are, we appreciate you so much on doing these videos, through you we are able to travel the world and see different culture of different people.
