This was incredibly beautiful and fun, Flora! Scotland is my home from home (my husband is Scottish), so I always really enjoy the marathons you show us from the highlands. I truly think it’s fantastic what Impact does for the environment, even down to writing the numbers of runners on the back of your hands! Why not, eh!? Planting the trees warmed my heart too. The group of lads you ran with seemed really upbeat and positive - essential in an ultra! I also appreciated your talk on how not to get bored whilst running. You’re a true inspiration Flora and you’re certainly inspiring me in my running. I’ve just come back from over half a year IT band injury and did my first 5K since injury yesterday. Nothing compared to what you have achieved here, but ultimately what you said about training your mind really applied. Thank you. Thank you for sharing everything you do and all of your training. Only 5K or not, it’s inspired me to look at Impact Scotland for other years to come! 💚🌱 Ps I absolutely adore Anna so thanks for showing her on your channel again. I love The Running Channel!
Ahhh so great to hear you're recovering from ITBS! Sometimes I think the first run after injury means more than any marathon/ultra ever could. Hope to see you at the next Impact x Scotland!
What an incredible experience!! I would LOVE to do that! The hillside bagpiper was an awesome touch, LOVE them. The guys you met up with were great, that's my favorite part of ultras, when you fall in with cool people and share the experience... and often a lot of personal stories. 😆 What you said about everything complaining, but nothing more than anything else, sums it up perfectly. You know you're doing well when everything is grumbling, but nothing is yelling.
Very nice run for a cause! You lucked out with the sunshine for most of the run. Loving those views which always adds to the run and my favorite part of the video.
Great video, Flora. Lots to see along the route. Thanks for sharing your training run. Good luck with your upcoming race. Stay safe, train smart, and keep running...
What a wonderful run Flora. Looks so beautiful and great commentary. Loving the mindset. So inspiring. I will have to try a trail in Scotland. Can't believe you are going to do 4 in a row!!!! Looking forward to it. Thank you so much for creating your vlogs Flora.
Beautiful scenery! Looked fun! You talking openly about pains and aches is what I appreciate the most. Nobody talks about getting random niggles that come and go so I always feel like the only person who experience it!
Great vlog Flora - I did the half on the Sunday and was doing the more 'type 2 fun' rhodendron clearing on the rainy hilltop on the Sat, so don't think we really crossed paths. It was a top weekend and the food was immense, especially the first night banquet!
Nice looking race that, I'm doing a leisure 28 mile run on Friday across the Dengie nature reserve with a mate, done once before on my own and its bliss, flat but no people which in my eyes is wonderful lol. Good luck with your future runs.
Nice one Flora. I have my first 11km trail race on Saturday, building up to the Dartmoor North to South ultra in September. I have only been running for about a month, and I find your videos a huge source of inspiration and motivation. Keep it up!
Good video Flora, yeah it’s amazing how your mind & body can get use to running 30k or more at a time & it just feels fine enjoyable & refreshing, warn out the next few days though hehe good luck with your Ultra coming up 😀🌲🍀👍🏃🏽♂️🌴✅🥳
Great video. I really enjoyed watching it. I have just started a video series on my channel. I am documenting my training for an ultra marathon in September. Seeing your content is really good motivation for me to keep making videos. Keep the content coming. I can't wait to see the next video!!!
Good evenning Flora and all the runners from 🇪🇸. Excellent video and fantastic race, ¡¡¡Well done!!!!. Which is your next race Flora?. Here is my like. A nice week for everyone. 🌞🏃♀️⛰
The bagpipes were magical. Also it's not a bad price esp with all the education and amaaaaazing food you get with it! I was so impressed with the food 😍
I did the half (started 2 hrs after the marathon went off) and he was there on our way out & back. He was about 1k from the start/finish so had lots of free time and i think a spotter who would help him pipe up when a runner was on their way.
Probably the most random comment you're going to get, but is Quinn(spelling?) Canadian, by chance? I'm from Canada and it was literally just the way he pronounced "out" that made me question it 😂🙈
@@FloraBeverley haha I knew it! I've been living in the UK for 3 years now so nice to know I've not lost my touch for accents 😂 Loved the video and congratulations on that amazing race! I swear I noticed more than just a fellow Canadian's accent 😂

You would have loved it - the bagpipes gave me goosebumps! 😍 yes the guys were brilliant, I love to meet people on the course!

Stunning scenery Flora and àn epic looking run. Sooo nice to see Anna on one of your videos again. She's such a lovely person.
Anna is the best! 🤗
So magical - except the bogs haha. Thanks for sharing this run with us, very cool. Good luck for tribe!

You're so casual about being in pain! Your mental game during running must be high - well done
Hahahah I'm so used to it. High pain threshold can be a blessing and a curse though - sometimes I do stupid things and live to regret it 🙈
Great video. I really enjoyed watching it.

Next event is on Monday- 4 marathons in 4 days 😬
@@FloraBeverley Good lucky for those race.
Still very jealous, just wish it was a bit cheaper! One of the few times I've heard bagpipes and thought ah that's cool :P
The bagpipes were magical. Also it's not a bad price esp with all the education and amaaaaazing food you get with it! I was so impressed with the food 😍
@@FloraBeverley I do love some tasty vegan food, especially after an ultra marathon! :D
Surly he wasnt playing the bagpipes for the whole race😅 if so that's rather impressive😄 looked like such a beautiful place to run 😍
In all honesty I dont know, he was there both times, 4+ hours apart! 🤯
I did the half (started 2 hrs after the marathon went off) and he was there on our way out & back. He was about 1k from the start/finish so had lots of free time and i think a spotter who would help him pipe up when a runner was on their way.
The baby cows 🥰
Soooooo cute

Ooooh lovely, I hope you have a great time!
