Steven, I really don't have - and I believe I never will - words to thank you! The work you have done and are doing is beautiful. Your humility is even more endearing than your enormous intelligence, my friend. People like you make me believe that angels really exist and that they are out there helping simple human beings like me. Thank you so much for everything! I ask my God to protect and illuminate you forever. A big hug, Aruanan Avelino - Campina Grande - State of Paraíba - Northeast of Brazil FYI: I watched, in detail (and repeatedly), all the videos about OBS.NINJA / VDO.NINJA available on your channel. Your work, including those you did with Chris, has helped me enormously. You're great!
Thank you so much, Steve! Screen sharing as a director was causing me so much trouble, so this is exactly what I was looking for. Whenever I came back to sharing my camera, I always used to lose the settings I previously chose and I wasn't even able to set them again correctly. Maybe there is a bug or something like that, because I used to get different resolutions, I wasn't able to zoom in anymore and it all looked awful. Sometimes I wasn't even able to show myself again. Unbelievable. Having an issue like that during a live stream is a huge problem, which this video completely solved 😁 Thank you so much not only for creating a so beautiful and powerful software, not to mention for giving it away for free, but also for making these tutorials. You're a treasure.
Hello Steve, I tried vdo ninja as director and also one of the the participants. But I can not hear the audio of guests. What to do? I am using usb camera and output as my PC's speaker.
If you join the discord, discord.vdo.ninja , I can support you better there. If you can't hear any audio from guests in VDO.Ninja, make sure the correct audio output device is selected in VDO.Ninja. Click the Settings icon and make sure the correct audio output device is selected.
streaming a file? well, you can lower the quality settings on the viewer side, and hope that helps. For example, vdo.ninja/?view=XXXXXX&scale=25&contenthint=motion&codec=h264 otherwise, jump onto Discord with me at discord.vdo.ninja and we can see what else we can do. Might be hard as that CPU I think is pretty old.
ah, okay, sorry. Um, i'd need to know what you are streaming and how you are streaming it, etc. Sometimes the issue is just a bad network connection. Wifi, packet loss, etc, can cause the video to look blurry or be choppy. @@filmexpress1029
As a director in vdo ninja, when I share my screen and I have started my virtual camera, I don't see an option to share that camera, only the camera on my computer.
You don't see the virtual camera? I'd probably try restarting the computer, as the browser may need a full restart. You might also try a different browser to see if it appears there.
I have created a room in VDO.ninja and sent the invitation link to my friend. But my friend cannot open the link in her Android phone. It worked on her iPhone though. Do you know why it was not open in Android and how to fix?
If they are using a Samsung, try the Samsung Internet browser instead of Chrome; otherwise, try Chrome or Firefox. Very old devices might have problems, but it generally should work. Some devices interfere with the ability for it to work, but changing browser often fixes that.
