It’s actually very depressing living in a country (England) and having to grow up hearing bad things about your parents homeland when you know full well that it’s a safe and beautiful country. I’m 31 and was born here in the UK. My Mums Mum was an English Catholic who converted after falling in love with my Grandfather who was a first generating Pakistani. He came here and worked hard as a plumber. My parents always made it their duty to take me and my siblings back to Pakistan for our holidays. I’ve probably been close to 15 times now. It is not a dangerous place as a country. You do get sketchy areas just like everywhere else in the world.
