Yea thats one of the biggest problems with games nowadays. They always complicate things way too much and it doesn't even end up being the same game you fell in love with. Same happened with Fortnite but they do some good things here and there. Like going back to OG and the new mode

Fifa 10-13 was just the best for me in terms of peak nostalgia. Custom arena’s in the urban areas, skill moves with Dinho and Kaka. Brazil silvers. Op cheap cards. Crazy longshots.
My first FIFA that I actually played on PC/Console. Before I only played it on the WII and FIFA 15 with iOS. I remembered that I was so excited to try something new and bought it for my PC. And it was great. Had so much fun on this game especially after achieving those FUTTIES cards with Konoplyanka, Aubameyang and Reus. Still wish we got those Golden Cups back
same man i also came back to fifa 23 in january 2023 it was so weird at first seeing all the teams having 11 different promo cards. watching fifa 22 videos with 96 ST ramos… not to mention TOTY icons, like what did gullit do last year??

@@Sledgehammer003 the downfall started when EA removed 30% of the server infrastructure and didn't make new code which started in fifa 19 and fifa 17 and 18 were the best in terms of competitive games and the gameplay was crisp and fast and I'd say when they started to add more realism in fifa 20 which caused so many broken gameplay mechanics and continued every fifa after that

Old Fifas were so random and that’s what I liked about it, in new gen Fifas every match feels kinda the same…
Yh i think that randomness came from the overall game speed being pretty high which nowadays isnt the case at all

Fifa 16 was my last FIFA before I got back into the game in FIFA 23, i occasionally played Career mode off and on for 7 years, loved that game

For me, 15 (For FUT it was 14) was the last until I got back into it during 21. I didn't even buy 16 and 17 lol.
I still play FIFA 18 and I love it. Everything was better (player faces, graphics, gameplay, UI, all of it). FIFA before 19 was pure gold.
