    We use our fleet of scooters to meet you around the clock or you can meet us on Savile Row and now....order your shirts and suits online!

    Hello, I personally like to wash my shirts either by machine or hand using a
    fabric softener. Then I like to air dry them because some fibers can get damage by the heat from the dryer. Light starch and a good press with the iron. May be you are using low setting that may also work with the dryer?

    Thank you for posting this video. My biggest problem is my neck area the measurement
    doesn't necessarly work with custom made patterns for sewing a shirt.

    I’ve seen a few videos on this. Fingers vary from one to two behind the tape measure. Is there a definitive answer?

    • @Fistful_of_Thimbles
      @Fistful_of_Thimbles 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it varies from tailor to tailor, when it comes to buying off the rack I'd typically say two fingers is best

    Wish I started with this one.
    I thought you measured the shoulder across the front, good to know you do not. 👍

    What about measuring the armhole? Shouldn't this be included as well?

    • @goldenshumour6809
      @goldenshumour6809 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its 4th of your total chest
      If the chest is 40
      Armhole will be 10 inches
      If want full fit you can reduce half inch

    Do you guys in the UK hang your clothes to air dry? Or generally in the dryer? I'd love to have a bespoke shirt, I just worry that if I put it in the dryer it will shrink. Maybe it's just me, but I LOVE how soft the shirts feel when they come out of the dryer!

    • @davidhirschhorn2960

      it's not the dryer, it is the refrigerator that is making your shirt tight

    Good advice but spoiled by background music being so loud that it is not in the background, but the foreground, and in competition with the speaking. It's silly to make the music so loud that it makes it harder to understand the important information! I did not choose the video for its (irritating) music but for the information.

    "Always measure in inches" Have you ever seen the date in the calendar these days? Are you 60? NOBODY UNDER 50 use that shitty archaic thin, let alone stylish youngmen willing to pay for the perfect fit... you guys are mad, mad, MAD!!!!

      Please take no notice of this, It has no chance of fitting as a bespoke shirt.
