Neither. Chain was hitting my swing arm skidplate. I just fully redid the rear end with a new chain, sprockets, dby sprocket guard, drw rotor guard & new carrier with carrier bearings. It’s solid & noise free now.
@@tristan_andradeI wish it was, it’s done it since I got it. I just put the skid plate on recently. It comes from behind the front sprocket. I was thinking it may be the driveshaft (shaft that drives the front sprocket) or a bearing inside the transmission.
what year is it
It’s kind of a Frankenstein build at the moment, it’s got an 05 frame with an 03 engine, swing arm, front spindles & steering stem.
How do you like the sunf tires?
I love them man, seriously, they replicate maxxis almost to the T for less than half the price.
timing chain? heat plate rattle?

@@Connor_Russell glad you got it figured
@youtubeuseruser-wk4fu me too, now I just need to upgrade my GoPro lol
Does it have a skid plate?
Yessir, it has a tusk racing full frame skid plate & unknown brand swing arm guard
@@Connor_Russell it’s probably your skid plate that is making the noise
