- Close Up takes on Voreqe Bainimarama as we build towards the climax of the 2014 General Elections.
The Fiji First Party Leader tackles several criticisms levelled against his party, and talks at length about the auditor general’s report, the moved towards national Fijian identity, the contentious issue of Land ownership, his salary, the Great Council of Chiefs and it’s abolition, the Qoliqoli Bill amongst other issues.
Bainimarama also speaks about the various elements within the Fiji First manifesto.

Corruption in the government Bainimarama
Four years back Mr. Simpson was dictated by the Dictator himself rather than he interviewing, sarcastically rude, coming up with few truths but cunningly put..He had guts with a loud mouth of course and no tact at all but he somehow made it to reign....Mr. Bai called politicians names and had stats of killings in the past decades upheavals..I wondered then and still do, IF Mr. Bai had any inclining to these bloody trails....Oh! how the families of those lost loved ones would have felt, had they known that their chosen leader was the runaway culprit..Please, do tell me, to those who know, so I can tell others to choose for the right in this upcoming 2018 Elections..to think wisely before they cast their vote....to raise their voices for the right choices!

Stupid Bainimarama
The PM dictated the tempo and direction of the interview. Stanley's interview performance was well below par. Instead he should have researched more to be more confident and witty with questioning. The PM had free air time of promoting his views.
I think this is a lesson to all Fiji Journalists. They must do their homework having previous statements of politicians at hand to base their questions. They could use "Alex Jones" technique.
