I applaude the sentiment. Every life, and that means "everyone" has a life story. If living peacefully and compassionately with each other is our goal, listening for - inquiring about - the story of people with whom we disagree is a good way to get there. Open heart, open mind, open hand.
It is such a blessing to be working for a company that puts not only "customer service" as it is usually practiced but actually SERVING THE CUSTOMER (whom we call a 'guest' to emphasize the hospitality aspect) before everything else. When you stop and truly value each guest, and use specific language and hospitality practices to demonstrate that, it's no longer just a job in just another restaurant -- it's a unique chance to value and serve every person who walks through the door.
Truly excellent video. Our culture has become so coarse that people are becoming increasingly dehumanized. At the same time they need love more than ever, it is harder to find.
This video put tears in my eyes and even more love in my heart. That little girl made me think of all of the innocent children suffering here & around the world. The true meaning of life is to leave this world better off (less hate, killing, pollution etc) for the next generation (ALL of our children). USMC VN Vet but foremost, a Christian husband & father trying to do my best every day, second by second because life is very short and my true success will be via the love I receive and give.
God bless those affected in CT today. I am so grateful for the beautiful values that Chick Fil A has placed in my life. 9 years I have been with them, And I feel so honored.
I like how this teaches customers as well that employees are people too and also have their own stories. More often it is customers being rude to employees because they are wearing a uniform.
Thank you Bo Eason for sharing. The especially touching 1 for me was the widow who would have been celebrating her 50th Wedding Anniversay; my Dad died back in November & it would have been Mum & Dad's 55th Wedding Anniversary on 2nd March. I also related to the little girl whose Mother died in child birth & feeling rejected by her Dad ~ although I had both my parents, I was hospitalised for 3 months round my 1st birthday & spent over 40 years feeling unwanted, unloved & not good enough.
This video does such a good job at reinforcing the message that customers (internal and external) are people and not just numbers. Thank you so much for posting it. There are several of our customer service training clients who could benefit from watching it.
My operator friends at the CFA at 1890 Ranch shared this video with me. I am not sure what to say at this point, but when I finish drying my eyes I might find something adequate to post. Truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing your vision Priscilla & Phillip Mendoza!
It reminds me of heaven when you wake up o_0 but like a begining of a afterlife kinda film ! I'm happy that little girl 😢 had people who cared for her ! Nobody is too BLAMES 😭😢💓💐 Baby for your parents faults ! Accept themselves ! Okays
What a fantastic video. It hardly seems like a commercial. Chick-fil-A is a very, very different kind of company. The irony is that there is a person in the cow-suit who is treated like a person. While at other fast-food restaurants, there are people in people-suits that are treated like cattle. Kudos to Chick-fil-A for expending the resources to make this video and to help create an atmosphere that respects people. No surprise - it is a Christian company.
I appreciate the heart Chick-Fil-A demonstrates for understanding their role in people's lives. How cool is it that they train their employes to be aware of the lives of their customers? This is why a trip to their stores reminds people like me of the days when customer service mattered.
Unfortunately for us, the animals, the environment, and future generations. It will be interesting trying to explain that we destroyed the planet because some people thought animals were tasty.
"People thought animals were tasty'' for how many thousands of years? And being human is a bad thing? Fish eat fish. Wildlife eats other wildlife, again for thousands of years and that's a problem? Is that right? LMAO.
We're omnivores, that includes meat. Sorry if you find that offensive. Nobody is forcing you to eat the chicken, you can always order a salad (but what about the poor lettuce - OMG!)...
Ha! Impossible for us to destroy the planet. The planet was created by God the Father for us! It's our world to do with whatever we want! Not all animals are tasty. Toads aren't good, neither is crow. Chicken and cow rule! PETA...my FAV organization! People for the Easting of Tasty Animals!!! Yeah, bring on the steak!!!
VEGETARIANS...ugh! They eat food meant for the animals! Poor starving cows and antelope...vegetarians are stripping the earth of food meant for our animals friends, and at the same time, OUR ENVIRONMENT!!!!
What a very nice reminder to look beyond ourselves and really see those around us. I like that it was created to remind themselves of this easily forgotten truth. Thank you for sharing. It brought a moment a joy to my day and helped to reset my self-centered perspectives.
Superb message. It reminds me of this quote: Ian MacLaren, a noted Scotsman, author of “Beside the Bonnie Brier Bush,” cared deeply about those around him. His oft-quoted words offer wise counsel: “Be kind. Everyone you meet is carrying a heavy burden.” Ian MacLaren was the pseudonym or pen name of Rev. John Watson. Wikipedia has an entry for MacLaren. His book “Beside the Bonnie Brier Bush” was a best seller in the 1890s From this source: quoteinvestigator.com/2010/06/29/be-kind/
Truly excellent video. It's also important to understand the struggle our LGBTQ teens go through on a daily basis. I wish this was shared in the video as a reminder. Our culture has become so coarse that people are becoming increasingly dehumanized and everyone deserves respect and love.
What a great video, it makes you think. Do I see people or do I see stereotypes, do I speak to, or with those I meet? This message is about real life not our petty agendas. And I also remind myself that a soapbox is only good for talking, you never see anybody working on one...
Great video. I saw this video over a year ago at a training meeting we had (I work at a chick-fil-a) and it impacted me. The little girl 1:15 breaks my heart.
I don't do the fast food thing however today, 8/1, I will be making an exception. I'm going to Chick Filet today because of this video and to support Chick Filet's 1st amendment right to free speech. Thank you for standing for what you believe in.
There is a major difference between judging and following the rules. The Word of God is very clear that approving of homosexuality puts a person in the same category as those who do the action. (end of Romans 1). It is not judgement to refuse to engage in a forbidden act or to disapprove of one. It is, rather, knowing right from wrong and following the rules and the facts of the Creator.
I manage a franchise restaurant, so I'm very familiar with the way the model operates. What YOU have to understand is that if a franchisee violates corporate policy or the law, corporate has the right and responsibility to revoke the franchisee's license (As an example, we'd lose our license for something as minor as using the wrong floor tiles). No such action was taken in these cases, therefore Chick-Fil-A corporate tacitly approved of the inappropriate practices of its franchisees.
If I had died in childbirth, and my husband blamed my daughter for my death, I would haunt him till my dying day! That one made get up from my computer and go hug my kid.
(cont.) so I want to be like Christ, who humbly laid down His life for us sinners. Compared to God, we're all on the same level. In the Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9 says: "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." So, if I end up treating people better, it's God's doing, not mine. So Mr. Black (guessing from your sn), thank you for voicing your thoughts, & I hope you come to know Christ.
Their will always be those that take the Bible out of context who know nothing of the history, the culture, and God. They go through life making 'assumptions' that they confuse with 'truth/facts'. It is important to understand this video is simply stating that every life is important and that all people have their own struggles. That doesn't condone immoral behavior or actions, but reminds us to have empathy, and be concerned for those around us.
Precisamente eso es lo que somos, no tan sólo lo que vemos a díario en el espejo somos ,sinó también nuestra historia. Por eso somos diferentes el uno del otro cada uno tiene una historia que contar eso sómos.
That is exactly what I want in my fast food commercials depressing narratives. Now, that makes me want some Chick-Fil-A, knowing that everyone else has a disaster of a life and is just pushing thru it to the next day. Who writes these commercials, Lebron?
Cow story: "Escaped a brutal life in a pin surrounded by feces and death. Only to be picked up on the street by a van full of chicken fanatics. Forced into indentured servitude at a restaurant called 'Chic-fil-a', if he resists, they'll return him to his former jail. His mission now, to escape once again, and this time, it's for keeps."
Dislikes and not agreeing with changing the definition of 'marriage' are night and day. But I understand that this tactic is a tried and true method of the left - obfuscation. So it's no surprise that you would use it. Using your logic, if I disagree with the demands of my 14 year old daughter, I then "must" dislike her. Brilliant.
That passage is not in support of slavery. People sold themselves and relatives in order to clear debt and have food and shelter. This passage is to the owners, that if they had slaves, treat them well.
Lord Jesus please help me to remember this about everyone that I encounter.
Amen
I applaude the sentiment. Every life, and that means "everyone" has a life story. If living peacefully and compassionately with each other is our goal, listening for - inquiring about - the story of people with whom we disagree is a good way to get there. Open heart, open mind, open hand.
I USED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO ALL THE TIME WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND I FORGOT ABOUT UNTIL I SAW THE TIKTOK
Great reminder were not in this alone... Have remembered this vid for the last 4 yrs, still brings tears
it makes you realized that everyone is going through stuff, so don't be rude or judge base on appearances
It is such a blessing to be working for a company that puts not only "customer service" as it is usually practiced but actually SERVING THE CUSTOMER (whom we call a 'guest' to emphasize the hospitality aspect) before everything else. LMFOAUDHAHA PAUL YOU ARE SO SILLY
People matter, they really do. Take time today to let others know that God cares and that you care.
Praise Zeus!
This video put tears in my eyes and even more love in my heart.

my intro to business textbook brought me here and now i'm crying
God bless those affected in CT today. I am so grateful for the beautiful values that Chick Fil A has placed in my life. 9 years I have been with them, And I feel so honored.
If only the company actually gave a shit about the values they pretend to have. Donated to hate groups proves this is bs
my teacher made me do a report about this video... being honest here, this vid is amazing. it has such a great massage.
that is a great teacher!
the yassification of this video is honestly so amazing and inspiring. thank you.
i work at chick-fil-a, i ain’t a damn therapist
I JUST SAW THAT TIKTOK AND CAME TO SEE THE VID 😭
@@sofiamuller4948 OMG SAME LMAOOOOOO
ahahah ok but i also came from tiktok
I like how this teaches customers as well that employees are people too and also have their own stories. More often it is customers being rude to employees because they are wearing a uniform.
Only a person blinded by internal wounds themselves would not be able to see the good in such a visually spoken message.
Thank you Bo Eason for sharing. The especially touching 1 for me was the widow who would have been celebrating her 50th Wedding Anniversay; my Dad died back in November & it would have been Mum & Dad's 55th Wedding Anniversary on 2nd March.

I never shed a tear for a commercial video until I saw this training video about customer care.
This is so very powerful. I would love to see it shared more broadly. Thank you!!!
This video does such a good job at reinforcing the message that customers (internal and external) are people and not just numbers. Thank you so much for posting it. There are several of our customer service training clients who could benefit from watching it.
And now I am crying...thanks Chick-Fil-A
Excellent video to help us be away of the stories and needs around us. All we have to do is listen and love!
I've been looking for this video for years. Beautiful, thank you for posting.

I absolutely love this video!!! It's very inspiring! It definitely makes you think about everything God has gave you!
wish there was a "love" button . . . walk in love, don't be afraid to share your story too - - - be vulnerable for someone else and listen!
Oh my! Why do I not live out who I am and show show lives within me....MY JESUS

Wow--loved this--thank you--made me teary eyed...
But what about the cow's story?
Or the chickens in this case, dear...
Dad sent to slaughterhouse a month ago
Just don't ask where the meat comes from
Hope you aren't wearing anything made with leather...
Good one!!
I appreciate the heart Chick-Fil-A demonstrates for understanding their role in people's lives. How cool is it that they train their employes to be aware of the lives of their customers? This is why a trip to their stores reminds people like me of the days when customer service mattered.
Hey Ricci,
If you don't like it don't eat there. Unfortunately for you millions of us love Chick Fil A and will support it.
Unfortunately for us, the animals, the environment, and future generations. It will be interesting trying to explain that we destroyed the planet because some people thought animals were tasty.

Amazingly simple and poignant reminder. I love this company and what they stand for.

What a beautiful reminder for us to consider those around us. Marvelous message.
What a very nice reminder to look beyond ourselves and really see those around us. I like that it was created to remind themselves of this easily forgotten truth. Thank you for sharing. It brought a moment a joy to my day and helped to reset my self-centered perspectives.
What an inspirational video! Amazing!!
Me and my emotional self getting all teary eyed .🥲🥺
im not even going to lie...i started crying when i watched this during training.
When someone tells you, "It's just a fast food sandwich", consider the humanity of those involved in each human interaction.
Wow, what a beautiful video!

Awesome Thoughts Everyone's Goes Through Different So Pray For Each Other.
I would like to thank Dan Cathy for sharing this video with the men of Men's Fraternity at the Church of the Apostles. It certainly touched my heart.

I have saved this for years and come back to it time to time when I need a boost.
Great video. I saw this video over a year ago at a training meeting we had (I work at a chick-fil-a) and it impacted me. The little girl 1:15 breaks my heart.
This was really eye opening! Thank you for the reminder.
😢so touching!
Again - Chick-fil-A you Rock!~ GREAT Vid!
Lovely 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This an INCREDIBLE video. Thank you for creating and for sharing...
This is a truly amazing video. Yes everyone can write their story
Nice video. I have been finding myself listening to people more. Take the time to listen. You will surprised at what you may learn...

This is an awesome video! It makes you think of the importance of simply being considerate of others.
Touching video!
Wonderful!
This works for both sides
I love Chick fil-a
chick fil a got me in the feels
Great Job guy's
If I had died in childbirth, and my husband blamed my daughter for my death, I would haunt him till my dying day! That one made get up from my computer and go hug my kid.
This makes me want to go out and buy something for them just to support them... Too bad we don't have Chic-Fil-A in Canada. :(
Can someone summarize this video I have a project on it and I don’t wanna watch it

And the cow was diagnosed with mad cow disease
+Tony P hahahahahahaha!
man with working brain and imagination made this....
great work.:)
It's not opinion. The Word of God is fact. That will never and CAN never change!
In your opinion the word of god is fact.

Cow: Son was turned into ground beef
one of the few fast food restaurants where the chicken tastes like chicken. I show this video to hard-bitten salesmen all the time.
That is exactly what I want in my fast food commercials depressing narratives. Now, that makes me want some Chick-Fil-A, knowing that everyone else has a disaster of a life and is just pushing thru it to the next day.
Who writes these commercials, Lebron?
This is actually part of their training for employees, which is so much worse.
Not a commercial nor a training video. It’s for orientation, for candidates to see whether they’re the right fit or not. So you’re both wrong
think i'm going to the bathroom to cry now
Grttttttttt pow 💥
Who is worse? He who commits sin against his fellow man, or he who turns a blind eye to it?
great video
Nice touchdowns are you still playing for Ormond Beach Pride

world class company.
How did this video come on in a playlist for USAF SPECOPS PJ?

looks like i reached the "automatic tears" section of youtube. either that or this is a very dusty room.
Although this video was produced to inspire Chik-Fil-A staff to look beyond the transaction there is a lesson here for all of us.
That passage is not in support of slavery. People sold themselves and relatives in order to clear debt and have food and shelter. This passage is to the owners, that if they had slaves, treat them well.
it is so motivational....:)
@bigfuzzydog i thought it was very depressing as well!! But it was still a great message!
Is it wrong if this video made me cry?
