FRANSPEED thanks for the feedback buddy. Really thankful for the feedback; it’s hard to gauge about voiceover vs speaking whilst you are working... But that’s really awkward and time consuming sometimes. Take care and stay safe 💙
sean_st mk2 we have a few bits planned; some finishing bits for this series and then some more basic tutorials. We’ve planned an oil breather video and some other good stuff. Hopefully we get back onto the Forge Series really soon too as people are constantly asking; which is cool! Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed 💙
03ANO cheers buddy. Painting certainly adds a new dimension and the appearance of getting value for money; especially if you are just Forging alone! Stay safe and look forward to your next video 🙌
This job is SO much easier while the engine is out. Their is very little room to work while in the bay. You can change the timing belt without any locking tools on this engine as long as you have it all marked up properly.
Have seen other utube channels adjusting the manual tensioner clockwise are there different variants could anyone from ford shed some light on this please
OK, I see you need the tools to re-time the engine, my question still remains as to wheter the tools are required for disassembly. I hear different things...
I have to replace my Camshaft Seals, they’re leakin oil. Do you have any tips for getting the Torx30’s on the right side of the cylinder head out of the cams? I already broke 2 Torx bits. And I don’t want to remove the valve cover, so I have to fix the cams.
Another quality video, thanks again, really enjoy your video's keep up the great work.

@Jesse Kingston No problem :D
Another great video guys! Having the engine out of the car makes it so much easier to see how everything gets done.

Cant wait to get this done now, just counting down the days. 👌
Well done lads 🙌 what you got planned for the next one? Keep up the great work 👍

# we would always recommend use of the proper timing tools; that’s what they were manufactured for buddy 🙌
@@BDPerformanceWrexham I agree. If I was working on someone else's car I would take all precautions. As it was my own, I took the chance.
# Fair enough sir
Where can I buy the crankshaft locking tool from? I’ve found the cam tool you’s use but I cannot find the crankshaft one.
Are the cam sprockets on a keyway? Thanks.
awesome mate
Thank you 🙏
Is the crank locking hole located in same place on the Focus RS engine? (I assume it is)
Yes, near the starter motor 🙌
Do your recon block mod engines come painted too??
Gary Mugford they can do indeed; obviously for an additional cost. Incidentally we’ve just recently done this for a customer.
@@BDPerformanceWrexham how much is paint added onto the block mod?

Do you have the answer already?
@@corwinvanwijk6480 ant clockwise is my best guess as some tensioners are marked with an arrow indicating this direction
@@darrenclarke553 I did it clockwise this evening. And it’s fine now.

Matt Jacomos thanks for watching the three videos.
Please see the response on the first question
