“We wanted to go back to our roots,” states Dawson Scholz on The Ongoing Concept's upcoming album AGAIN. “The goal was to do an homage to our earlier albums, while moving forward. We tapped into the old mindset and combined it with where we’re at now. If we were going to get back together, we knew it couldn’t be underwhelming. We needed to give the fans music that was on par with what we were doing a decade ago, but evolved.”
The Ongoing Concept integrate “lyrics and Easter Eggs” from previous albums into the record’s framework, embodying the title quite literally. “Thematically, the songs are continuations,” Dawson affirms. “Every single song has its own vibe even though some of the lyrics may be connected to older tunes.”

So good to have The Ongoing Concept back! I've always felt they're one of the most energetic and unique bands of their genre, and I can tell the group is so reinvigorated all united together again. This new album is definitely one of my most anticipated of the year!

I remember hearing you guys for the first time when you popped up directly behind us in line at Warped Tour Pomona in 2013 and delivered an intensity filled set before warped tour even started. I have listened to this album since its release but actually I didn't see this video. It was just a few months ago that I received 8mm tapes from my childhood. I bought a Sony camcorder and not only did I watch the tapes but I already started making new ones. This song just got that much better.
