The street racers/takeovers have absolutely destroyed local car meets in the US. Now it's hard to find parking lot owners that will agree to let them happen. Smdh.

Chad I was into Z's also. I was friends with Mr. Katayama's personal secretary when he was Nissan US President in Gardenia, CA. I was able to attend the luncheon with Mr. K when they did the release of the 350Z. I have a signed 350Z hot wheels from Mr. K. Great cars, my last one was a 1991 300ZX.

The Vr6 engine is very popular for old VW's in germany, often they build a turbocharger on it, to get like 500hp. This Golf 3 is probably a "Synchro" (because its so high and has mud flaps) which means it has 4wd.

@18:10 US market DID in fact get the VW Golf station-wagon ("Alltrack" + "Sportwagen") but they are quite uncommon. discontinued in '18 or '19. I've only seen them a handful of times. We also had a Passat wagon that sold in pretty small numbers.

Nobody had one like that ( i think in Germany). This was a very funny car! Every VW Golf driver turned around, when they hear this Sound. I missed my first (VW Scirocco I) and my second car. Now i drive a Ford Taunus. Deeper and welded Rims. In addition to my Honda Monkeys, I also have a Honda Ruckus and I need exactly that exhaust from your friend. I don't see many honda's at the car meets but I do see many honda's in Thailand. I see alot of k swaps in the usa. Several are putting a k20 or k24 in the honda fit (jazz).
21:01 sc300 I've never seen in the wild but that version would have the 2jz straight 6. The more common version of the vehicle I have seen is the sc400 which comes with the 1UZ-FE 4.0l V8. If the built them with manual transmission those would be without a doubt the best platform to build a drift car out of that normal people could afford.
wow that 350z price made my jaw drop, that's about 5x more expensive than they are here in Australia... just wow. After watching further into the video it seems like that is just a trend for most of the jdm cars over there dang...
