What also would be nice as a clip, if you'll be able/willing to, is the sort/types/mods in Thailand they have in their tow truck category. :) Mostlythe peoples know tow trucks as based on regular semi or mid size work trucks in the U.S. or Europe but in Thailand it's very interesting they often convert regular PichUps like the Toyota Hilux or Isuzu D-Max into these 3.5t tow trucks with these flat bed platforms, that you can let down to the ground completely, for picking up even low done cars with ease. :D
The Citroen was a ZX, shared a platform with the Peugeot 306. The quickest they made was a 2.0gti, but that looks like a replica of the WRC homologation one, they never made the cut *but* they did do a mad F2 fwd rallycar called a 'maxi'
I found bank (streetmetal) years ago on some article about Honda Fit/Jazz's. At the time he was the only insight to the Thai scene. Then old Chad comes along! So glad to see the combo move of cool Thai content. Get Creampai and the orange EG together for a shoot!

Man thes cars are wicked I gotta hit up Thailand one of thes days, amd chat been watching this channel since the beginning almost 4 years ago Keep the awesome content coming 👌
I can’t watch this. Just landed back in the US last week. Thai wife, all her family are in Bangkok, we go every year, sometimes twice a year for a month. Always wanted to go to a meet but we’re so busy with family and travel. Man I would have loved to go, lol. Eh, why I love your videos. Keeps me there for the time I’m away. This looks particularly awesome! Know exactly where it is too.
Long time no see your videos I'm coming to Thailand in Feb, you had posted a contact for you so people could information and help on what paperwork is need Can you pass it along again Thanks
Damn i drove a Citröen ZX Volcano as a track official in The Rally, many years ago, back then they were some bad ass cars, they were used a lot in rally and track racing back in the days :) .
Some super nice cars on display there! Did Thailand ever get the 90’s Dodge Daytona turbo or Plymouth Laser turbo? I’d love to see their take on a Daytona turbo build. Great video man! 👍
@@Grumpy_Stiltskin most of the ones I’ve seen have just been beat to hell and/or wrecked. They weren’t an expensive car so lots of people bought them and didn’t take care of them. Not to mention crappy late 80’s and early 90’s build quality and poor materials quality. Every now and then I see a super sharp well maintained one, but it’s more and more rare. Thats one of the reasons I’d love to see one in a Thai style build. Skylines are cool and all, but after you see a couple hundred in the same parking lot they kinda get old. Other than me just liking Daytona’s, it’d be cool just for the sake of some diversity.
Is there a car event in December in the Bangkok and Pattaya area? I'm on vacation there and it would be cool to take a look at it, it would be great if you have any tips.
The prices of the JDM legends are why I kept mentioning the RCR GTR. All new components. Supercar performance. For the price of a production car from the 90s.
Man I need to send my engine to Thailand for a rebuild look at all that sick setups ,I'd let them go ham on my Pajero Evo ...now I'm daydreaming as the luxury tax will eat my savings alive
Actually, we brought culture, cars and coffee from America. Then we arranged a meeting, thanks to Mr. Jiro Chan, who made us understand the culture of cars and coffee.
Yo Chad, was wondering if these guys are running variable geometry turbos in these turbo diesel trucks or wastegate what turbos if you have a video giving a rundown I would appreciate the direction
00:38 Bro' this Citroën ZX is insane, I'm french and i've never seen one in this condition, nobody "love" this car at this point her. Unbelievable. Love your videos, keep it up !
Have you ever done a vid of cars that are 'collectible' In thailand? So Ive brought in a huge chunk of cash to Thailand to avoid future tax issues, in order to diversify my investments, I was thinking of buying a few cars that may (or may not) increase in value over 10/15 years. Im not really a car guy so whether they go fast or slow is irrelevant, its more about buying cars and just parking them up in my shed for 10/15 years and then selling if and when I need cash.
I would like to know how much a big brake kit cost in Thailand. Its seems every one have one and most of them are from endless which are crazy expensive
I would DEFINITELY rock a 190E with wide body kit like the yellow one. Pearl White with 700hp turbo 2JZ for me PLEASE! The very rare, 1983 Cosworth 190E is one of my favorite cars and drives like a dream on my high end Next Level Racing Sim setup. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😂
I use to has Supra and I sold my lovely car before I came to US on 2007 and I still miss my lovely car. And now I do have plans to move back to my county before April 2024. Hope I'll see my lovely car still with my old friend. 😢😢😅😅😅
Shout out StreetMetal and the dude Bank! Love the videos Mr.Chad from CB bro can't say Ive followed you since day one but since back in the day for sure. Also was def a superstreet/sportcompactcar/nopi guy back in the day when the magazines where a thing so I guess in a way I have followed you for a bit. Keep up the cool content brother!!!

For the AE92 Trueno by 2:00, there are some really nice videos about him on YT as well.😄😘

@@alantaylor353 yeah, not sure if it had the same gearbox as the 306 maxi but they were 7 speed manual!
What an absolute blast. I need to quicken my retirement to Thailand. Seriously.
Wc.
CB Media is one of the few TH-cam channel that I watch the entire video. Always great content!
You helped inspire me to come visit thailand. I've been watching you for a couple years. I just got here a couple of days ago.
I found bank (streetmetal) years ago on some article about Honda Fit/Jazz's. At the time he was the only insight to the Thai scene. Then old Chad comes along! So glad to see the combo move of cool Thai content. Get Creampai and the orange EG together for a shoot!

The quality of thier builds ...just crazy
I’m Chris from the UK. I love your channel. I’m in Thailand in Feb, if your in bangkok on the 15th Feb, I love to meet up for a beer.
Another Great CB Media video! 👏🏻
Great to see the car meets are back. Love the channel and cars.
Citroën dominated WRC in the late 90s early 2000s. Look up Sebastien Loeb, the most successful rally driver of all times.
Great video Chad; crazy how large your channel is becoming, 1 million subscribers here you come 💯💪
Man thes cars are wicked
I gotta hit up Thailand one of thes days, amd chat been watching this channel since the beginning almost 4 years ago

Cool buddy, glad to see you back
This is coolest Car meet I ever see

2:08 That's an AE92 Corolla - the FWD successor to the AE86!
I had an 87 Corolla Sr5(AE86) sure wish I still had it..
Long time no see your videos

Thai people really like engines. If you have people supporting you, you will go far.
4:53 best news I’ve heard before 2023 ends ❤
Nice to see the champ white ctr... their known as the fn2 type r. I own one myself, and love it ❤... thanks for bringing this content to us all 💯

The thais are brilliant, they modify anything and they do it properly
Nice rally setup for that Puma kindoff😁👌🔥🔥
Chad, you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace
Aww amazing, Nice Yellow Volvo T5-R at 12:21
Just seen you cruz'n thru town again. Keep up the great work.

For red popup toyota is ae92 corolla trueno. And the 1st gen city is actually 2nd gen jdm city. The 1st gen is more boxy.
headphones instantly went on once that fd started up. ready for weekly uploads.
Is there a car event in December in the Bangkok and Pattaya area? I'm on vacation there and it would be cool to take a look at it, it would be great if you have any tips.
That's right, there's the HFTH 2023 conference in Pattaya on December 23. You can join us. Welcome to Thailand
The variety of the cars is just amazing !
@1min20 is a Ford Laser/Lynx (KJ) a clone of the Mazda 323-C/Sportiva (BA)
The prices of the JDM legends are why I kept mentioning the RCR GTR. All new components. Supercar performance. For the price of a production car from the 90s.
10:28 ‼️‼️
This is a Cefiro A31 covered with a Toyota Altis body that was specially made for this event.
ok.!!! ❤
Thx for all the awesome content but I don't remember ever seeing a G.T.O. (classic or new) or a Holden is the V8 scene rare?
As a scandinavian i never saw that Ford before
Volvo meet would be interesting to see, great channel
1:14 That is a mid 90s Ford Laser. In Taiwan, it's a Ford Aztec. Mazda powered, same as the U.S market Fiestas and Festivas.
Definitely out of this world cars and coffee. Thx for sharing bud!
that red car is a Ae86 Trueno, the car that really helped start drifting in Japan and was the car in Initial D I believe
At a glance, it looks like an old Fiat X1/9
Is Chad joking? He must be the only guy in the entire world who never heard of the Initial D car 😂
I believe its an ae92 trueno. And its fwd
Definitely not an ae86 is an ae92
It’s a Toyota Celica st185
Can you please do a video on the accord sv4 I love how different they are from the U.S.
Epic drone footage Chad!
I wished you got some more footage of those cb accords. Those guys build them super clean over in thailand compared to here in the US.
That rotary fd was the best 😍😍😍🇦🇺
Good one chad
That Ford @ 1:25 is badge engineered Mazda 323 Coupe from the mid 90s era.. They were sold in Europe as a Mazda.
Does anyone know what year that Honda City was? Please reply to this comment if you do thanks
1.22 Ford Laser Lynx. They also come as a Mazda Familia Neo. They're a JDM/Australasia thing, used to get a lot of them in NZ
The red one on 2:00 minutes is a Toyota ae92 trueno
Man I need to send my engine to Thailand for a rebuild look at all that sick setups ,I'd let them go ham on my Pajero Evo ...now I'm daydreaming as the luxury tax will eat my savings alive
This is DOPE ! One more reason to get my ass over there as soon as possible 😊
great footage i love your channel
Another great vid. thanks!
White Ford. It called Ford tx3. 1.8 cc na. Year around 1999.
I have so many questions about the taxi Corolla. When they open the hood and I saw that rwd configuration 🤯! Time to look up Corolla taxi drift.
Chad that car @1:25 was sold in Australia as a Ford Lynx. My Dads Girlfriend bought one new back at the time
It's a badge engineered mid 90s era Mazda 323 Coupe..
Honda City GA2, second gen. I have one here in the states completely track prepped.
240sx came with the ka24 which was the 4 cyl out of the tacoma
In the uk the yellow civic type r
We had a limited edition Jordan civic we associate with the yellow civic hatch
For the AE92 Trueno by 2:00, there are some really nice videos about him on YT as well.😃
Another cool vid 👍. Have you tried go-karting at Chiang Mai Circuit?
That green Honda with the guy sitting in the engine bay. Fucken sick ass meaty tire setup
*I appreciate seeing this culture. here in America, we have nothing like this.*
Actually, we brought culture, cars and coffee from America. Then we arranged a meeting, thanks to Mr. Jiro Chan, who made us understand the culture of cars and coffee.
@@ddthree8470 cars and coffee has NOTHING to do with the quality of these builds.
How cooĺ was that taxi/cab with that engine!
Yo Chad, was wondering if these guys are running variable geometry turbos in these turbo diesel trucks or wastegate what turbos if you have a video giving a rundown I would appreciate the direction

If you're in Pattaya 1st week in Jan, I'd be happy to buy you a few beers!
Love the content, the way your bring it is awesome! I bet they would love my LS swapped Rav4. Thank you
That Toyota with the tri spokes was my favorite.
Love it ... OLD SCHOOL!!!!!!
Hands down Thailand has the best looking RX7’s on the Planet.
NOPI Nationals in Atlanta was the best time of my life!
The white car looks like a Ford Puma. The red car is a Toyota Corolla Trueno (non liftback 2dr).
Nice. Take us to where they do the K swaps at
Cant get the SR20DET in the states, whole engine has to be imported. You can turbo the us stock 2.4L for some power, but cant handle much boost.
1:15 its a ford laser lynx
that is how car meets should be in America!!! chill with no toxicity no bs
The yellow type r's are cool but the yellow recaros are like getting hugged by a giant teddy bear 🧸

Don't forget to chuck in a few motorbike vids between the car ones
6:20 that S124 is nice 👌
Citroen DS was one of the most influencial car in the history, you should catch up with citroen :D
@15:19 it's a cool fast looking car of course it would look better with the top down.
Is this meet every Sunday or just once a month? Good Vid 👍
No dought thailand has got it all..my homeland..
red car at 2 minutes looks like an old corolla. Sweet vid.
