Why do you think that you are entitled to benefit from other people’s hard work for free? Do you know that formulators spend lots of money testing and retesting batches to ensure that they are stable before they share them. If what they do is their livelihood, why should you not pay? The same way you want to live, they also have to live. People have LLCs to manage along with their personal business. Why can’t you pay $5.00 per month to access hundreds of formulas that someone else created? She had to go through the process of having the person remove all of the stolen content and then she transferred all of the formulas to her Patreon. @hazelboyce7230 I have purchased 2 of her books so yes I'm paying . But she does great videos and is a teacher to all who want to listen. She learned her trade by hard knocks and gives freely of her knowledge which is huge . I'm not stealing or doing anything wrong . I'm not opening up a business nor am I taking advantage of her kindness . She just teaches , because she wants everyone to benefit from her vast knowledge . That's a true healer . It's not that hard to put plant matter in a jar and use oil or alcohol 100 proof so it's even 50 / 50 ratio of water to alcohol and store it for 6/8 weeks until it's ready . I always start melting that wax before adding any butter or oils be cause of the very high melting point of the wax. You dont want to destroy the goodness of your butters and oils😊
Nicely done. I’ll make it this weekend. Aluminum, as found in nearly all antiperspirant bars, is very well known to cause Alzheimer’s. I want To make an alternative to that for my wife.
I really live your videos 8 learned so many different recipes. I actually play with other butter and oils the way you show how to. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the good video! I tried this recipe in the same roller sticks bought from Amazon. First impression: rolling it on the skin was a little rough. It worked so well with my body! I was impressed, no unpleasant smells and its effect lasted around 24hrs. I noticed it reduced the sweat a little. As the days passed by, the effect started to last less and it got harder and rougher to apply. I'm not sure why does it harden a lot, maybe from the wax? At the moment, it's been around 3 months and to use it effectively, I place it in the sun outside for like 10 mins before using it so it can warm up a little and I can roll it a little more comfortably. As much as I liked the recipe so much, I would not do it again because of the hardening with time and the roughness on the skin. Thanks again!
Try letting it “sit” on ur skin first for a few seconds before rolling it on. I have to do that with my native deo and my body temperature warms it up to glide more easily.
It can get a little more firm...especially depending on the climate you live in. Mine normally softens up a little once it touches the skin though. Thanks for watching.
Me and my husband had reactions to something too..I made this I thought maybe the corn starch I didn't think it was the baking soda 🤔I was gonna try arrow root
@@righteousdiva1130 yes, clay. And let me just say as a follow up, this turned rock hard within a few weeks and my friends said they weren't able to use it. It does work if you put lotion or oil on first, but who does that on their armpits? So i would highly recommend NOT using candillia wax as it is so hard. If you try beeswax instead it should be lovely.
@@ThankYouJesusTheChrist I really wanted a vegan alternative so that's why I use that wax..yes ot does get hard I used alil more oil and it was softer..my issue was our underarms getting idk like irritated and discolored. I made a whole batch and after about a week we noticed irritation. So yeah
Thank you love for sharing the recipe! am just wondering for how long we can keep using it!? or do we need to add some sort of preservatives to extend its expiry date?
Well, I hope you don't mind me saying, but I've just made up a batch using these exact measurements. I weighed everything out first and 55g of baking soda is way too much. Is that a typo in the ingredient list? My arm pits are like steel, I can stand A LOT of baking soda but I've experimented in the past and 55g is way too much in terms of causing irritation. I reduced the above recipe to 20g and the finished product is way too greasy. The search for a non greasy deodorant continues ... sorry I couldn't be more positive.
Hi love your videos but I’m not having any success at all… just made the deodorant and mixed powders into oil while in water bath but powders took over completely it became thick so couldn’t pour… would adding in almond oil make it pourable next time or half the soda and starch?
This will work on really bad underarm odor? Because i have brought the ones in the store and they dont work and my underarms are not bad i dont sweat much but for a man will this work..is there something to add more of for this?
Happy Thursday night 🤗 I'm a new subscriber. I have a question about the baking soda. Eith thst much baking soda does it not irritate your underarms? Im still trying to petfect my homemade deodorant 🤭 but i do like the way you made this. I know baking soda irritates the armpits. Well have a wonderful night 🥰 peace 🕊️ love 💕 and blessings 🙏🏾
Came out way too thick. Too much baking soda and corn starch in proportion to other ingredients. Can't pour it into containers. And it's not even two full containers, you mention you had enough for three. I weighed every single ingredient to the g.

Lemon/Lime is great at keeping away pear and lightening dark spots so I think I’ll add the juice with some curls of zest. :)
Pear?

Would I sub same amount of arrowroot for baking soda?
Also the Candelilla wax is much more harder.. I’ve tried it so I use way less.

What can i replace the baking soda with? More arrow root?
Can it be done without 19g Cocoa Butter and with Bees Wax instead of Candelilla Wax?
Yes you can certainly customize this for a similar result. Thanks for your question.
Wish you add names of the ingredients on screen 🙏
lol she did she added it by sections first was the shea butter then coconut oil then baking soda
Quick tip Never use metal utensils to stir plastic or wood
Can i ask why?
@@nurulainmasayu6651 because the metal reacts use wood or plastic or a glass stirrer 👍🏽
@ailse491 only if the ingredients contain an acid or base. These react with metals. If they don't it's not necessary to avoid them
If using Beeswax (would this be a substitute)? How much would you prefer to not be too firm (hard)?
I would like to know this as well
Thanks for sharing

I’ve learned over time to just run a little bit of water over the top helps soften it up! I absolutely love it. Thank you again!
I enjoy it
What's the total yield (weight) of the set product?
If We want to skip baking soda
what is the melting point for the deodorant? can it survive shipping?
Thank you so much for this!!!
Pls i react to baking soda. What alternative would you recommend?

19g Coconut Oil
14g Candelilla Wax
44g arrowroot
10g zinc
33g kaolin
10 drops Bergamot EO

Hello madam
Please inform, how is it's shelf life..?
What would you recommend in place of coconut oil AND baking soda? I need to avoid both ingredients!🤨
Babassu oil, magnesium hydroxide
can i change and put olive oil instead?
Sure you try it with olive oil
Any other essential oils or fragrances for women you recommend. For freshness also
I personally love jasmine and geranium. Some women like Rose but i find it a lil too strong for my liking
How to apply deodorant from these jars? How do you use from that thing?
Run your fingers over the top and rub it under yours arms .
I just did this and placed it in the fridge, after an hour or so it still feels oily is it going to change? Or is it just oily pls advice🙏🏻
I didn't experience any oiliness when making or letting this deodorant set.

Is there any reason Magnesium Hydroxide is not used in your ingredients?
Can you explain y baking soda ?
Baking soda helps to neutralize body odor.
How do I prevent my final product from becoming grainy?
I wish she can answer this question too!
I have a favorite body fragrance I get from bath and body works can I ad that to it when making it?
bath and body work is very bad for skin and everything
my deodorant is grainy, I think because the baking soda is not fully dissolving, no matter how long I mix. How did you solve this?
You can blend your baking soda in a spice grinder to make it more of a fine powder.
If want to do larger batch like 50 PCs deodorant. How to calculate the measurements
Great
Thank You! What about staining of clothes from the oils? Does that happen? I’m interested in trying it, but that is my hesitation.
