The man who opened 130+ schools 100 years ago and change PakhtunKhwa dynamics.
The man who spent 37 years of his life in prison but never compromised on his Principles.
The man who presented and followed Philosophy of NonViolence 100 years ago when everyone was busy in WW-1 and WW-2.
He stood against patriarchy. His voice always echoed for underprevilged classes.
This man prevented Hindu-Muslim riots in Peshawar through his wisdom.
The wisdom which is now desired, has been given by him a century ago.
This is Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan aka Bacha Khan !

Your conclusion that invasion is a far right narrative is questionable. Shehzad, I understand that you may not be able to visit India, but there is a very lived and evidential history even till date where you can see the destruction of temples. In cases where the structure itself could not be damaged, the figures of the Deity were beheaded. And this is not restricted to a certain region of India but rather is very systemic across temples in the south and even more so in the North. So hence I would be very mindful if I were you to say that invasion is just a colonial narrative and is not a lived reality of the times being discussed

@@ms10J23 Who wasn't a Lootera in South Asia?? Why does no one talk about the Biggest looters from the northwest ( current Pakistan) like Chandragupt Maurya, Kushans, etc, who always looted and plundered current India ( minus Chinese Burmese regions of Northeast India captured by the British) . Mauryans alone killed 30 million gangajamnis. They didn't know what Hindu, hindusthan Bharat or India was. Ask South Indians. They hate the Indus valley and its kings and refused to call themselves " Hindus" ( a name given by persians to ppl of Indus Sindh) until Indra Gandhi bombed Tamil Tigers twice. Both India and Pakistan are teaching lies to their kids. South Asia is a region like Europe and never a natural country. It has dozens of historically, culturally, religiously and linguistically sepearted nations. Whoever united it had to go through each nation's blood bath via sword and gun. Even now, both countries will disintegrate without the British given army and guns. There was no Hindusthan before ghouri and no India before British. Bharat is a lie concocted in late 1800's and is not verified by any Western, Japanese, Russian or Israeli historian.

No, no, was it the "British South Asia Company"?
No, no, no was it the "British Europe like continent in Asia" Company or was it "The Barwe Sageer" Company?
Never mind, they came here to learn "Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb", lol.

Dear Shehzadbhai, greetings from Mumbai, India. Very interesting issues raised about distorting or weaponising History or narrative to push hidden agenda of one particular way of thinking, which is "Right Wing, Majoritarianism". my few comments :
    1. Pakistani State has weaponised "History" and set agenda for people so that dissenting voices / diverse views / liberal inclusive thinking is crushed. Homogenisation is pushed in the name of "national security, national indentity etc etc "
    2. Pakistan failed miserably in the Homogenisation exercise in all areas- Security , Unity , economic development , Cultural growth etc. People of Pakistan have been torn away from their roots of diverse identities of Pasthuns, Sindhi, Balochs, Punjabis, Seraikis etc.
    3. India was fortunate to have leaders like Pandit Nehru, Patel, Azad, Dr Ambedkar, Prasad , Shastri who gave a Constitution encouraging equality, diversity , tolerance etc. We celebrated Unity in Diversity , which kept diverse Bharat unitted for last several decades.
    4. Because if liberal, tolerant State , India allowed rise of Right Wing and Left Wing to not only sprout but also flourish. Because of Liebral constitution we have seen RW groups like RSS, Hindu Mahasabha and its associates to survive and thrive in India. These RW groups , instead of celebrating the Diversity and learning from Pakistan about how not Homogenise the masses, have gone opposite way. RW / Hindutvawadis are just copying actions of Islamist Pakistani's RW agenda of majoritarianism . Hindutvawadis have failed in last 10 years on all fronts - Economy, Employment generation, Society unity , Rise in Communalilsm, poor neighbourly relations etc.
    5. Right Wing agenda around world can be phenoenon of few years, but it bound to fail in long run ( sadly adter destroying the economic and social progress ). Regards

Colonial interperetration of history divided us divided us. People like Romilla Thapar initially.
Today it's the quest and greed for power that creates this animosity. Not RELIGION.
The West and China would build on this and we forget the thousands of years that all coexistence in United Bharat - inspite of a millenia of foreign conquests.
Let us accept each other’s religions and become one again.

29:34 jab bantware ko Congress ne man liya to unhone kya kaha dekhi
Khan vehemently protested against Congress when in June 1947 agreed to the partition of the country. He told Gandhi in June 1947 after CWC meeting,
"We Pakhtuns stood by you and had undergone great sacrifices for attaining freedom. But you have now deserted us and thrown us to the wolves…The decision about partition and referendum in the Frontier Province was taken by the High Command [Congress] without consulting us…Sardar Patel and Rajgopalachari were in favour of partition and holding referendum in our province. Sardar said I was worrying over nothing. Maulana Azad was sitting near me. Noticing my dejection he said to me, 'you should now join the Muslim League'. It pained me to find how little these companions of ours had understood what we had stood for and fought for all these years."

Brain mein thoda zor do, you'll get it, I believe in you. He didn't even put his real name on these comments which made me write maybe he can't stand criticism. I made sure I wrote "maybe" and that means I can't be certain of the reservations he might have had.

Frontier Gandhi mein where does Hindu Muslim come from. Whole India has great respect for him. He fought for our freedom and he’s our Bharat Ratna. Come out of your binary thoughts about Indians Shezad.Apj Abdul Kalam is also our hero. He also became our president. Anyone who keeps their nation India above their religion is our hero
