Really appreciated how Booker T leaned into this, made it so much better, Gold dust was always hilarious no matter what but seeing Book have fun with it was just so wholesome and it was something I think we all wanted for Gold dust, finally being paired with someone who worked with him well.

This is what is missing from modern wrestling. They treat it like it is NFL and only what they can tell a story from in the ring. There is rarely a backstage segment. There is barely any off sight things.
Those backstage segments were core memories for me, especially when Goldust got electricuted and kept a ridiculous stutter for a while. I mean burnt into my brained 😂

That and R Truth has been such unrated characters especially during the little Timmy days (forgive me if I don't have the imaginary kids name wrong by now years later lol). These guys need to be entered into the HOF. They are the history of WWF/WWE
When goldust asked for Booker T's hand & then Goldust sung "Booker T & Goldust, Booker T & Goldust" while both of them were dancing together because of Goldust 🤣😂 Then when EVERYONE was trying to make Undertaker do the Spinarooni. . .that took over Raw aftershow
It really rehabilitated bookers rep with the WWE fans cause he kinda got ruined by the invasion angle and was in no man's land creatively when they started doing them. But booker probably gained the most because he became the guy who defended the somewhat handicapped person. And he would've had a title run from it had HHH not been in his reign of terror at the time.
That was the last gasp of wrestling in those days. Great times of recording raw and SmackDown and heat and velocity every week on VHS and having my friends come over and we would watch it and break it down and then wrestle on the couch in the living room floor for a plastic title during the commercial breaks. Then put it back on and do commentary and study the moves. Such good times before I broke into the business and was just a fan back then
